Are you asking when did we find out that Santa isn't real?

That would have been around 9-10 for me.

I never believed in the fat man. The thought always seemed absurd. Of course I never believed in the tooth fairy either.

I was a skeptical little tyke.

What is this nonsense you speak of? :(

Santa is real!

Christmas is to celebrate the birth of Jesus isn't it? O.o;

But then it all got commercial and thus the stereotypes of Decorations, Pudding, presents etc etc kicked in.

I guess people might have forgotten the true meaning.

I never believed in Santa Claus. Of course that didn't stop me from faking it so I could get a lot of gifts.

I found out when I realized that my <s>mother</s> father and Santa had identical handwriting. My dad got around that by writing in all caps.

I figured it out the second time I saw him, because I thought it was strange that my dad had to go right before he appeared. Again.

When all of my friends Santas were so much better than my Santa, even though I was a much better kid than any of them.

What are you all talking about? Santa is real and gives presents to those that believe. As soon as you stop believing he stops coming...HA HA, come :shifty:

My mom said that I found out when I was three. We were at a store where "Santa" was getting his picture taken with kids and she said I kept staring at him. When we got into the car to leave, I said "Hey Mom..Santa's fake, isn't he?" She says that she cried afterward because I knew at that moment that Santa wasn't real...

A few years later I told these 8 year old kids that he wasn't real and got in trouble. They're gonna find out someday, you know...

Wow, you people were gullible as kids. I stopped believe by 4-years-old or so.

Everyone knows that part of the Santa mythos is fathers and Santa not being allowed in the same room at the same time for any reason whatsoever. That will be the real cause of a nuclear winter.

Ignorance is bliss, Raistlin.

My parents never tried that hard to pull of the illusion, so I was never a big Santa kid growing up.

When I was old enough to know what Christmas was, I knew the truth.

I think I still have a little part of my brain that's traumatized from the realization that my parents had deceived me about this. I was so shocked and angry when my dad finally told me, they were both surprised.

I totally lost my innocence that day.

I'm not sure if I ever thought santa was real. I might have. I know I used to think about staying up for the easter bunny though.

I suppose I officially found out when I was 7. It was no real shock when they told me though.

My sister told me when I was seven. I then proceeded to tell all of my friends, and I got in trouble for doing so.

Good times, good times.

I don’t think my parents ever tried the Santa trick on me. I know that I pretended to believe in Santa when I was 11 or so, because I am an idiot.

I don't remember when I found out that Santa wasn't real. Probably age 6 or 7. I believed for a while because he actually came to my house every Christmas.

In actuality, it was our next door neighbour, Mr. Reynolds. But it was such a sweet gesture of him to do that, don't you think?

I was at least 9 when I found out definitively, but I'm not sure if I already knew or not. How I stopped believing in the tooth fairy when I was about 10 however was traumatic and so very my own fault...

I was 3 when I found out Santa didn't exist, since I woke up to an empty stocking and overhead my mum saying she forgot to fill it. This is why I'm such a cynic.
