Damn Judges

those judges that you fight like 8 hours in, gave me such a hard time. am i severely under leveled? everyone was roughly between level 10 and 12. should i just take some time to level before i continue. also did anyone think that this is a more difficult FF than most?

yea i think it was more dificult than others.once i got further into the game,after a certain point all the monsters were stronger than me.i ran from them through thcita uplands and sochen so i was severly out leveled.i recomend that you do not do this.

If non-boss enemies are giving you a hard time, then you prolly do need to level up. Put Libra on one of your characters, then you can see what level the enemies are, and that will give you a better idea of where you should be.

Also, mastering the Gambit system makes the game much easier, so experiment and find out what works for you.

Thats generally a good area to train, you should of trained to around level 14, thats what I did. They werent that hard.

FFXII is harder than the previous FF's, but thats nothing but a good thing, I like a little challenge here and there.

FFXII is harder than most FF games but that isn't saying much as FF games are as easy as taking a piss in a river when you are standing in the river. This one is more like you are on the bank of the river :D

Compared to about 80% of other RPG's, FFXII is still way too easy.

That is why you are only at the side of the river. It still isn't hard. Other RPGs are more like a stroll to piss in the river while some are a mad dash across town while holding it in to piss in the river.

I wouldn't really call Zodiark or Yiazmat or Omega Weapon easy.

For the main storyline bosses, it just depends on how overleveled you are. I made it a point to be 5 levels above where I should have been at all times, and I never ran into a problem.
