The Hell of the Hell Wyrm. [SPOILERS!]

I tried fighting him today and won! :jess: I'm quite surprised because my party are all level 63.

This Hell Wyrm have more than 8000000 HP, no wonder his HP bar is different than normal bosses. When I see him, I thought I'm going to die but I never thought he was so easy, he does give some challenge, though and two hours fight!

It's nice to have him in Clan Primer and the den. 50000 gil from Montblanc! I'm going to Ultima next but I'm so scared of fighting her!

So, the topic is anyone have beat this wyrm?

I just beat him the other night. I actually had no problem with it. I think I could have walked away and come back 15 min later with no problem. Granted my characters were in the 80's but he doesn't hit you with too many crazy status effects, and the ones he does can be taken care of fairly easily with properly placed gambits.

Clear Vyraal (rank A) Mob/Mark Hunt mission, after getting the rewards and give the Viera Rucksack which dropped by Vyraal to your client, she will give you the Dragon Scale. Now head to Cerobi Steppe, find the windmill in the North-East section where you hunt the Vyraal. Examine windmill No.10 to trigger a scene, then pass Dragon Scale to that NPC for Ageworn Key.

Hell Wyrm wasn't tough at all. Mind you I fought it at level 91. It took me around 45 minutes or so to beat it.

Nothing about this beast invites me. I think I'll finish up just about every other side quest first.

Is it possible to beat it at lvl 65 and 64. I had a pretty good starting. Everynow and then my characters would die but get revived. I just made my attackers Vaan and Penelo cast haste, berserk, and sometimes bravery to widle down his bar faster. If I got lucky I got a 3hit combo with Vaan who did 7500 a pop and Penelo with 5500 a pop.

It opens the door to the room with the little blue star on the same map. Or rather, it moves the waterfall so you can get to it.

When I fought him the first time, I was level 66. It took about 2 hours, I believe.

I wonder how difficult he will be and how long it will take on my current 122333 challenge.

I thought it was quite an easy fight. Although I was in the 80s. Hell Wyrm, Omega MK XII and Yiazmat seem to be endurance battles really, rather than an actual challenging boss battle (I haven't fought Yiazmat yet and its 60,000,000+ HP is very daunting). It only takes about an hour to kill the Hell Wyrm if you're in the 80s in case you're reading this and haven't already done it yet. It just saves time. You all know where the ultimate leveling up spot is right?

The Walk Of Dancing Shadow section of the Feywood is the best as you can chain the Mirrorknights there and get enough loot within 20-30 min. to sell for about 200000 gil. You keep chaining them until you get 99 Windslicer Pinions. Having the Mages Monograph helps.

I was referring to the Henne Mines. The area with all the Abysteels. This is kinda off topic so I'll just say that that there is a vid on youtube that shows you it. You can get about 120000 exp. in a couple of minutes. That should get you up to high enough levels to beat the Hell Wyrm easily.
