Help with Elder Wyrm!

I have everyone at level 26 and I tried to fight him but got wasted easily, any suggestions?

The Elder Wyrm?

Well... I won't straight out tell you, but how I about I set you in the right direction?

Think about what element the boss is. Is it possible the Elder Wyrm has a glaring weakness you've over looked?

The Elder Wyrm does some really nasty things with Status ailments. Since you've fought him before, I'd advise coming into the fight prepared with the items you need to ward off those effects. Better yet, if you have the money, come in equipped with the accessories that make you immune to those things.

Finally, although the fight is possible with stupidly simple gambits and a lot of fine control over what your party is doing, you might consider flipping your gambits around until you come up with a viable combination of abilities and effects to combat what he does to you.

You're plenty high level to do it, believe me. My characters were about 6-8 levels under yours at that point.
