Which foods do you enjoy cooking because of the smell they make while you're cooking them?

I particularly like to smell bacon cooking, but I think I like cookies cooking more :)

You just reminded me that my girlfriend owes me a batch of cookies. I think I will yell at her to get into the kitchen and start the baking.

Or maybe I'll keep quiet and keep her as my girlfriend.

Thread topic: I am usually not around when people are cooking. I don't really like the cooking process because it seems to make it go slower when you are watching everything be made. And when I am hungry, I want to eat immediately. That is why I like instant food so much.

Well said. The smell of curry is amazing. Well, not amazing when I cook it because usually I bugger it up.:( But it tastes alright so meh. Also the smell of roast potatos cooking, oh boy, its like mini orgasms for your nose.

Basically, yes. Well, there are exceptions (when making food for the dogs/cats by boiling fish or kidneys :barf:).

I love the way cooking bacon makes the kitchen smell wonderful for days afterwards.
