I don't live in the United States, so it's kind of hard for me to be either. I don't approve of either of those groups though, so neither even if I did still live there.

I don't allign myself with either major party because they are too broad based and due to that my needs as a more ideological person are not met.

Democrat. I'm not under the illusion that the democratic party is filled with especially good people, but in a country with a government like ours it's always going to come down to two parties. And the Democrats are certainly the lesser of two evils.

I don't understand that. What would a party, group, or even a person be without any form of agenda? Then they obviously wouldn't be involved in politics.

I'm speaking for myself. I'm not the kind of person that would associate oneself with a political group. That doesn't mean I'm not interested in politics.

Then obviously you have a political agenda - whatever side you agree with. I'm talking about your comment about disliking any group with a political agenda - obviously they have an agenda, otherwise they wouldn't be a political group. Dur.

As far as I know a political agenda is a series of social and economic views a group of people wish to impart on society if they held power. I have my political views, but it ends there. As for my comment about disliking political party, read my previous post. I'm not part of a religious group, a poetry group, a theater group or any other group. Being part of a collective beyond a classroom, as it stands now, is not something I indulge myself in. No thank you.

Citizen Bleys
12-10-2006, 04:10 PM
If I was an American I'd commit seppuku, but as far as their politicians go, I think the Republicans are marginally less crooked than the Democrats, even if they're fanatical religious wingnuts.

Hmm, let's see, are there any Americans I haven't offended yet? Just to be safe:

-Mexicans are weak
-You're all a bunch of yanks, even south of the Mason-Dixon line
-Apple pie sucks
-I'm gonna go have an eagle-egg omelette now.

I'm none of the above, I'm Norwegian. ;) I'd definitely care more about American politics if I could vote, but I can't so it really doesn't matter to me. When it comes to Norwegian politics I'm right wing, baby. Keith told me that was Conservative, so I guess that's my answer.

I took an online quiz that said I'm totalitarian.

I think it's because I would choose to follow my religious ideals over the ability of a human/group of humans alone.

So I vote republican because they try their best to enforce the moral ideals that i hold supreme even though they themselves, much like everybody else on the planet, are stupid, greedy, selfish scum.

I have no problem voting for a party that at least puts up a facade of decency when the other one doesn't even try. How dare democrats believe in themselves when they're already politicians. For shame.
