Time paradox?

This may seem redundent but ive got to ask whats the setting for Ivilice. Is it the Arabian style setting we see in FF12 and FFTA, or the medieval setting we see in FFT.

Whats the setting? Is there a base setting at all? And what can we look forward to in the future with game's aspiring ivilice as there world.

FFTA and FFT are not the same Ivalice. FFXII is supposed to be in FFTA's Ivalice.

Further away they keep FFTA and FFXII away from FFT the happier I am.

Rather FFTA is based on the Ivalice of FFXII. Square-Enix has already stated this and the fact that development for FFXII started in 2001.

The setting in FFXII is random, much like other numbered Final Fantasies. You have your Arabic areas, winter area, woodland area, futuristic area, etc.

I'm one who feels that the four Ivalices (FFT, FFTA, FFXII, and debatedly Vagrant Story) are different from each other and are more like homages to each other.

I figure the book in FFTA is about FFXII. I also think that FFT is in the same world, just a different part and time period (when moogles are extinct and airships are history).
