What albums are you looking forward to that will be released in the new year? I didn't see a thread for this, so here you go.

Above all, I am stoked for Modest Mouse's new album "We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank" and will get it as soon as possible. Of course, I am also excited for:

Of Montreal - Hissing Fauna, Are You the Destroyer?
Clap Your Hands Say Yeah - Some Loud Thunder
New Coheed And Cambria album
Franz Ferdinand album (may come out late 2007, maybe early 08, in which case ignore this)
Mindless Self Indulgence's new album

That is all. Or at least all I can remember.

I'm not sure of many albums that are coming out next year. The only one I know of is Infinity On High by Fall Out Boy, and I'm pretty stoked about that one.

I think Maroon 5 is supposed to have a new album coming out next year. I've been waiting for them to come out with some new stuff for quite awhile now. :p

I am totally Stoked for the new Of Montreal CD, as some songs are amazing from it. (The Past Is A Grotesque Animal is simply gorgeous) I'm also really excited for Explosions In The Sky's new album. It will be ace.

Radiohead's new record is almost certain to come out next year, and I'm basically going to plan my year around it. Apart from that, I'll be looking out for new albums by Arcade Fire, Babyshambles, Bloc Party Bright Eyes, British Sea Power. My favourite record of 2007 will probably end up being something completely unexpected, however.

So far the only 2007 album I am aware of is Silverchair’s Young Modern. I’ll most likely get it, but I’m not ruining my pants in anticipation.
