What are your favorite Holiday songs? I say holiday not so much to be PC but because there are a lot of holiday songs that really can't be pinned down to any specific religious holiday.

I think my favorite Holiday song is Carol of the Bells, which we're singing in Honors Choir. Hark how the bells, sweet silver bells~

I also really like Mamacita, Donde Esta Santa Claus, but only the version with the little Spanish kid singing, because he sounds so damn cute! ;_;

And Where Are You Christmas by Faith Hill is sooooo pretty!

I love Hanukkah songs, because I like Hebrew songs in general. The song I'm singing in Honors Choir is a New Years song, it's called Bashana Haba'ah. It's amazingly pretty, and kind of sad, but pretty.

You? Tell me all your favorite melly Holiday songs, so you can enjoy hot christmas communication. :jess:

Ooooh, Hambone, you reminded me! We're doing this really neat version of Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town. It's all jazzy and fast! I love it. xD

Ani-a Kami, Karong Gabii Sa Among Pagdaygon
We are here, this night to sing a carol
Hinaot pa, sa kaninyo dili makatugaw
We are also hoping we will not (uhhh...) bring you gloom
Pasko karon, panahon, panahon sa kalipay
It's Christmas, the season of happiness
Kay natao na ang manunubos sa kalibutan
Because the savior is born.

It's a native Filipino song in celebration of Christmas. I <3 because it has such a festive and gleeful melody.

Weird Al's are good. Christmas at Ground Zero, and The Night Santa Went Crazy. Don't care much for Weasel Stomping Day.

I'm going to take notes from this thread because I'm searching for songs to sing at a concert I have to perform and am at a loss for good holiday sing-a-long songs after 'The Twelve Days Of Christmas', so keep these songs coming!

Take care all.

What's that one song from Elf where the girl's singing in the shower and then Buddy joins her and she freaks out? I like that song.

The Starcraft 12 Days of Christmas (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E0oHMfb7iDo). :choc2:

(Also, "I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day", and "Oh Holy Night"... that last one tends to give me chills. Yes I know I'm a dork.)

My favourite ones are the ones I improv on. Just singing words to any Christmas tune, involving my friends and their various sexually orientated Christmas presents is the best carol ever.

I heard this awesome Jazz version of "Silver Bells" on the radio once. That was the only time I heard it, but I want to hear it again.

Pretty much any version of "Silver Bells" is going to be my favorite XMas song. I like the one's without lyrics more than one's with lyrics. Which is why that Jazz version I heard is my favorite.
