Now that we, as people, use mobiles all the time. We have them with us everywhere etc etc. The home phone is often forgotten. So, how many phone calls do you get on your home phone? Who calls you the most? The least? Do you even still use your home phone? Who do you call?

I don't have a home phone, it's pointless.

I have no cell phone, so all my calls are routed through my home number. The twist is that it's VoIP, so I can take my calls anywhere anyway.

I do not know enough people around here to be bothered with a cell, plus land lines are cheaper.

I hardly ever use my home phone at all. I use my cell or Skype. Nobody calls me on the home phone, but from time to time I call people from it. But only like 1-2 times in a month.

i get like 1% home phone calls, which are mostly from my parents. there are still 4 home phones in use, and most of the phone calls are for my mom. she has more friends than anyone in the family...

No home phone here. My husband and I each have a cell and that's it.

I used my home phone to make harrassment and threatening calls to NANNY MANUS late at night.

I have a cell for some reason, but I never use it, as I rarely go anywhere.

I have Metro PCS, finally a cell phone company that has unlimited minutes....I laugh at everyone else who has a limited amount of minutes, and has to pay if they go over....best part is its only about 45 bucks a month with taxes and everything...

Therefore no need for a home phone....

I don't have a home phone and I hardly ever use my cell phone. I make it a point that everyone knows how much I utterly despise talking to people on the phone. Although every once and awhile someone will call me and I'll chat with them for awhile.

I never answer the home phone. It's always a sales person. :mad2:

If somebody wants to get in touch with me, they'll call my mobile. :jess:

Don't have a mobile phone. Drives my brother crazy when he's trying to get a hold of me. My girlfriend does, so most of our calls actually come through that. Otherwise, it's the landline that gets my business. Though most of the people I actually want to talk to, I can reach in voice chats online.

The house phone gets called more often than my mobile. I just refuse to answer the house phone.

I hardly ever get called on the home phone, but it still rings pretty regularly for my parents. I pick it up whenever I'm the closest person to it, but it's nearly always a telemarketer so I don't know why I bother.

I use the home phone about as much as I use my mobile phone, but not when it comes to text messaging, though - for obvious reasons.

At the current time, I do not own a mobile phone. I use my home phone to make all of my local and long-distance calls.

I still use my home phone a lot. I use my mobile for texting an very rarely make calls on it. I make most of my calls on the landline. At weekends I usually phone people or they phone me because it's free. So we talk for hours. I've been on the phone virtually all day at times!

I have a cell phone but it's never on. It exists for the sole purpose of being able to call someone when my car breaks down (as is prone to happen).

Most people who want to get in touch with me have to call through the home phone although it doubles as my parents' business phone so that scares several potential callers away... they always think they got the wrong number. This is fine with me because I hate talking on the telephone anyway, and whenever somebody calls and it's for me I tell whoever answered to tell them I'm not home. :choc2:

I have a cell phone, but I rarely use it. I'm not much of a phone conversationalist.

I have both, but I mostly use my home phone because it's cheaper and because I don't want my ear to turn into a mutant mouse.

I use the home phone whenever i can when i'm at home, because companys rip you off on call credit here. I use my mobile all the time because i go out alot.
