12 if you discount kindergarten, 13 if you do.
I plan to attend another 6, however, which would ultimately lead to 18 or 19 years of schooling...

I believe I've been at school for around 17 years or so.

On a similar note: I just finished my last final exam today! University classes are done now as of tonight! :D

I've been at school for 12 years, college for 1, I've got one year left and then I've got another 2 one-year courses after that. Then uni in a few years time. So... 13 years 3 months done, 2-5 to go.

Lets see...

12 years in school
2 years in college
one term in university

well, one term minus 5 hours if you want to include the next 5 hours of labs I've got to go to...

that makes 14 years, and one term minus 5 hours

I plan to spend the next 4 years in uni to get a degree, and probably another 3 or 4 after that for a phD qualification, but I'm not sure if that counts as schooling since it'll be my own research more or less...

My mum jokes I'll never leave :D

I may be getting out of school, but not in a good way. I just had the worst semester ever, and I fear it may be unrecoverable, and that I may be killed for it...

12˝ years so far. I have half a year left until I'm finished with the Danish version of High School and then I'll begin on some sort of education at the university that'll probably take around 4 years or so.

Not including the kindergarten, I've been in school for 13˝ years. This year is currently my 3rd year in the university, and my 14th year in school in general.

17 years.

*starts the countdown until graduation this spring*

Ender

Let's see...

Kindergarten (1) + elementary school (8) + high school (4) + university (4)

16 without kindergarten, 17 with (yay--I can do math!).

I also did a stint in two different preschools/daycare schools. That would be another three years.

All in all, I spent every non-holiday weekday (that I was not ill or on vacation or had some other commitment for) during the "school year" at an institution of learning of one kind or another from age 3 to 22.

I'm in my 18th year. Currently, I'm training to be a teacher, so my chances of getting out of the education system again are limited.

I didnt include kindergarden....But 4 years of college to get a Bachelor's. If you can't get a decent job with a bachelor's, a master's isnt gonna help much for the money its gonna cost you...

1 year of nursery
2 terms of reception
5 years of primary school (I skipped a year)
5 years of compulsory secondary school
And a term of sixth form.

So 12 years of school overall.

I think it's been about 11 or 12 years total now, though some of those were in home-schooling while I was unwell.

Seventeen as of this final year of undergrad work. Another five to seven years if I decide to go all the way, though. I'm actually looking forward to it more than I previously thought because graduate work is very different from the undergrad work.

5 years, K through 4
4 years, 5 through 8 (don't ask why it's not three years)
2.5 years, Freshman year to middle of Junior year

For a grand total of three hundred twenty nine years spent in school.

Let's see, three years of little school, four of primary, five of comprehensive, two of college, one of uni last year and one of new uni this years. That's sixteen years of my life in education. Wow. Sounds pretty big.

I completed high school and went into full time work, that means 13 years for me in NZ schooling. I may go for a degree later in life, but at the moment I'm doing fine without one. I'd only get one for the sake of learning more, really, because I do enjoy that.

Nice one shiva.

19 years for me, including kinder. But then, kinder was fairly inconsistent as I only went for a few weeks.

:)

I have both teaching and research commitments (since 2005). Hence, work is almost preferred (more accurate) than school.
