So today at work we were talking about work, then some how merged Lord of the Rings into it.

Some new girl said something about our HR, Margie, who is like the most evil person in the store, being able to see all, in which I respond with "Yeah she's like the eye of sauron, when she sees you, your screwed" then we get out of the break room, talking about what was just said aparenting LOL-ing at the whole, work place and LoTR thing. Then Alexa gets a cutomer, New girl Meagan has to go find this shirt in mens and it's her first day and she didn't even know where the department was, She's now frodo. I make a comment if we should have left her to go off alone, 'cause Frodo was kind of failing with out Sam. About 3 minutes pass I, being Sam?, Go down and help new Frodo and it all ends up working out.

Do you guys have any weird associations like how my work is now LotR based? Maybe you have some weird associations with your friends or other people?

i work at a casino...it's like quiet right now so we pretend it's a post-apocalyptic facility for zombie study...the gamblers are zombies and all the staff are there to observe how they act...just me and the barback and some of the slot staff i used to work with see it this way but it's fun to watch some older patrons at 3 am shuffling about looking for a good machine or trying to get a drink or somesuch after playing for more than 20 hours straight.

Yes, we had Sauron and Golum where I worked too. ;)

I once visited a city on the Black Hill South Dakota with the most "Zombie like" casino patrons ever! The old ladies and players didn't even blink!!!

And the casino was just a dingy place with machines and chairs, not the luxury you see in Atlantic City, Vegas or other places, which made it all the more weird / depressing. Those people there were really to far gone to even care about any niceties, just their vice, straight up...

I remember mentioning to my husband how eerie and zombie like those people looked!

My sister calls herself Smeaglette. Or Smee for short.

But no other LotR based nicks. I do have mates called Crime, (Lord) Snowdon, Hymen/Semen and Chico.
