Well, I need aid in trying to compress videos so that they're smaller, and I've downloaded three codecs and that Windows Movie Maker. Only problem is, I don't understand how to use the Divx and the Xvid, and when I try importing an AVI file with WMM, it says the file is invalid or corrupted. I'm just really confused, here. Can anyone help me out in trying to make these videos I'm recording (from an emulator) smaller? Is there another codec thing I can try out?

How can a two-minute video be 70 megabytes? o_;

What format are the source videos in? (they are AVI as you said, but what video codec?)

Well, I was just using whichever one, but after choosing the Xvid codec, the size of the files was drastically reduced. So I think I accidently solved my own problem.

I guess if I need any more help, I'll use this thread.

Get the 30 day trial of WinAvi. It is pretty handy to convert from one format to another :D
