So my mother every year she brings out the bells for Christmas decoration! But she hangs them up always in the most annoying places like on the inside of the front door so every time I open the door it just jingles and they are EXTREMELY FREAKING LOUD! And they just jingl constantly every time someone walk in or out of the front door so all I have been hearing practically at least every 15 freakin minutes is the jingling of the bells!

And my Mom gets mad at me when I take them down and recently she decided it would be fun to put them up in different places in the house to annoy me like this morning she put it on the outside of my bedroom door so when I got out of bed i decided to kick open the door and the bells slammed into the wall making a huge annoying sound. And now I don't know which door Mom is planning to put them by its so annoying.

And the bells are getting in my head now too! So even when I push open a door now even if the bells aren't hung up on that door I can still hear them for a split moment. Its Crazy! Im going freakin insane! I cring every time i open a door now.:(

So any way the Topic: Do you have any decorations that annoy you? Or does something always happen this time of year that you dread or always annoys you? Do you freak out like me or do you laugh about it later?

Decorations are the only part of christmas i like. Christmas music infuriates me, especially my mom's because its all crappy christmas hymns and the like. >_<

I remember there was this Santa statuette which lit up and moved back and forth. Nothing too bad, until what was presumably overuse caused it to make humourous farting noises everytime it bent over.

Most of our Christmas decorations were my grandmothers, so even the annoying stuff we can live with, because it reminds us of her.

Since I disagree with the Catholic Church's views, I find it irking that my mother has to put an angel on the tree's top.

I guess I'm too picky though.

Gasp. I love bells! xD

The thing that annoys me though is this singing snowman that we have outside our front gate. Everytime someone claps, the snowman starts to sing like, reallly really badly. And believe me, people clap. :p

God, I loath bells. Fortunatly, we don't decorate for Christmas. But I HATE Christmas songs right about now. :rolleyes2 One can only listen to "jingle bells" and the like for so long before one starts comtemplating homicide.

My mum sticks a huge santa picture thing over my window, cos it faces the front of the house, but then I can't see out the window. I made her take it down at the weekend when I was in anyway and she hasnt put it back which is good :p Need light in my room!

Hear the sledges with the bells -
Silver bells!
What a world of merriment their melody foretells!
How they tinkle, tinkle, tinkle,
In the icy air of night!
While the stars that oversprinkle
All the heavens, seem to twinkle
With a crystalline delight;
Keeping time, time, time,
In a sort of Runic rhyme,
To the tintinnabulation that so musically wells
From the bells, bells, bells, bells,
Bells, bells, bells -
From the jingling and the tinkling of the bells.

Hear the mellow wedding bells -
Golden bells!
What a world of happiness their harmony foretells!
Through the balmy air of night
How they ring out their delight! -
From the molten - golden notes,
And all in tune,
What a liquid ditty floats
To the turtle - dove that listens, while she gloats
On the moon!
Oh, from out the sounding cells,
What a gush of euphony voluminously wells!
How it swells!
How it dwells
On the Future! - how it tells
Of the rapture that impels
To the swinging and the ringing
Of the bells, bells, bells -
Of the bells, bells, bells, bells,
Bells, bells, bells -
To the rhyming and the chiming of the bells!

Hear the loud alarum bells -
Brazen bells!
What a tale of terror, now, their turbulency tells!
In the startled ear of night
How they scream out their affright!
Too much horrified to speak,
They can only shriek, shriek,
Out of tune,
In a clamorous appealing to the mercy of the fire,
In a mad expostulation with the deaf and frantic fire,
Leaping higher, higher, higher,
With a desperate desire,
And a resolute endeavor
Now - now to sit, or never,
By the side of the pale - faced moon.
Oh, the bells, bells, bells!
What a tale their terror tells
Of Despair!
How they clang, and clash and roar!
What a horror they outpour
On the bosom of the palpitating air!
Yet the ear, it fully knows,
By the twanging,
And the clanging,
How the danger ebbs and flows;
Yet the ear distinctly tells,
In the jangling,
And the wrangling,
How the danger sinks and swells,
By the sinking or the swelling in the anger of the bells -
Of the bells -
Of the bells, bells, bells, bells,
Bells, bells, bells -
In the clamor and the clanging of the bells!

Hear the tolling of the bells -
Iron bells!
What a world of solemn thought their monody compels!
In the silence of the night,
How we shiver with affright
At the melancholy menace of their tone!
For every sound that floats
From the rust within their throats
Is a groan.
And the people - ah, the people -
They that dwell up in the steeple,
All alone,
And who, tolling, tolling, tolling,
In that muffled monotone,
Feel a glory in so rolling
On the human heart a stone -
They are neither man nor woman -
They are neither brute nor human -
They are Ghouls: -
And their king it is who tolls: -
And he rolls, rolls, rolls,
Rolls
A paean from the bells!
And his merry bosom swells
With the paean of the bells!
And he dances, and he yells;
Keeping time, time, time,
In a sort of Runic rhyme,
To the paean of the bells: -
Of the bells:
Keeping time, time, time
In a sort of Runic rhyme,
To the throbbing of the bells -
Of the bells, bells, bells: -
To the sobbing of the bells: -
Keeping time, time, time,
As he knells, knells, knells,
In a happy Runic rhyme,
To the rolling of the bells -
Of the bells, bells, bells -
To the tolling of the bells -
Of the bells, bells, bells, bells,
Bells, bells, bells, -
To the moaning and the groaning of the bells.

We normally have bells on our doors too, but now that I think about it I havn't heard them in a while, which means I'm either sleeping thru them now or my dad's finally gotten annoyed with them and put them on the door we never use. I love Christmas Decor so I don't really have an issue with them.

My parents put a wreath on our front door. The trouble is that our porch is so small that I end up with bits of plastic plants sticking up my nose when I try to open the door to get in...
