It Needs A Sequel.

Now I know that the gaming market is over flooded with game sequels, but yet I still want to ask this question.

Which games do you think need/deserve a sequel?

The biggest reason I ask is this. Recently I re-played through Shenmue 2 and it just kills me that Shenmue 3 hasn't been announced yet. It has such a great story but they just leave you there with no ending whatsoever. I just want to see this series finished up already and see Ryo's story come to a close.

Let's see....I can't think of anything. Most games that I love already have sequels up the wazoo. Oh, Xenosaga Ep. III's ending definitely requires an Episode IV damnit.

Edit: I've never beat Vagrant Story, but I've heard it calls for a sequel big time. I don't want to hog all the sequel love for myself, so whatever I'll say Vagrant Story for that fanbase.

While Square Enix is in their sequel mode, I'd love to play another game in the world of Final Fantasy IX, featuring Zidane and company, but in all likelihood it would tarnish the wonderfulness of the original. They really shouldn't make a sequel to it, but the kid in me still wants one. :p

I think Eternal Darkness deserves a sequel, and I heard rumblings that it might be coming after Too Human. And Golden Sun 3 is long overdue.
