One time a few years ago i was mowing the lawn and the ground was covered with leaves and i heard a loud *CRUNCH* and much to my dismay i found a shredded turtle splattered about. I managed to find one of his legs intact...but that was it. T_T

Yeah, turtles are pretty awesome animals. I especially like the bigger ones, mainly because they are big, but also because it's fascinating to think about that they can get so old.

I was looking at turtles today, I don't hate them, but I dont like them too much either. I think I'll stick with my spider and lizards (should be getting a lizard geko in the new year with my boyfriend!)

We have two pet turtles in our household... actually I think they're tortoises, technically. They're both rather small but they're supposed to live to be like 80 years old. xP

My sisters take them out and let them walk around the house sometimes... they make weird noises.

Turtles make me squee. They had a tank of tiny little turtles at the pet shop in the mall and I spent a good solid hour just watching them crawl on each other and then fall in the water. ^_^
