The Mark So Cool, You Felt Guilty Killing It [Possible Spoilers]

So, we all know that our lovely Clan Centurio has us running 'round Ivalice, slaying all the baddies, but after completing the Atomos hunt, I stopped to wonder.

"This creature is so kewl,and has beautiful crystals on it's back, maybe I shouldn't kill it..."

I then mercilessly slayed the beast and returned to Nalbina to reap my goodies.

The moral of the story is:

What is the mark so cool/beautiful/interesting, you felt it a shame to kill it?

The Mandragoras, I suppose. The other cool-looking Marks were so difficult that I hated them by the time they finally went down.

It would have been the ultimate shame to kill the Ancient Man of Mystery, but naturally, he was too cool to die.

I felt bad killing those, they were so cute :(

Also, the Cluckatrice and it's babies were kinda hard to kill, because it's a giant cute chicken with children.

"Man of Mystery" is my first choice but the Vorpal Bunny was a cool fight. Though it did get frustrating. Fafnir was definetly awe inspiring as well...

I felt bad for the Vorpal Bunny... until it started to run away!

I felt absolutely no pity for the Mandragoras. Especially when they died... I was nearly convinced they were going to come back to life as undead versions of themselves and kill us all!

The Twister. I just love chocobos and a giant white, shining chocobo was the coolest! Loved to get it on my pirate's Den :D

The Trickster was neat, the mandragoras cute, the chickatrice and cluckatrice delicious. I feel no pity for my marks. I felt sorry for the little critters I had to kill for my bestiary (like cactoids).

the vorpal bunny was soo cute, but it ran away to other beasts and those beasts killed me. :mad2:
those mandagoras are evil! i thought they were coming back to life! the petitioner was soo snobby! and gave me 1000 gil and 3 remedies! :(

King Behemoth hands down...only because I wanted to kill it over again a 100 times...loved that fight.

I loved just walking up to the cactors and starting a fight with them....it was an easy kill and you could get a good piece of loot from them. but them I did the cactor family quest and I felts bad for killing them so I stopped doing that...lol..I know it's silly but that just me..

Fury gave me most guilt to kill... I mean the mandragoras looked happy going away atleast, but fury's end "scene" made me question with what right I could go around killing thousands upon thousands of the creatures of ivalice I mean this little furry ball of fury had the audacity to cry as he fell to the ground from my last strike. :cry:

Also, I have to say the Gilgamesh battles were GREAT. I made sure I saved right before the first battle due to the epic fight and the hilarity of his entrance. Even Enkido is thinking to himself "What a dumbass he can be sometimes...".

Still though, The Ancient Man of Mystery has to be my favorite battle in FFXII.

I was at level 25 at the Paramina rift. I saw the Trickster, so I'm like YEAH YOU GO DIE NOW. It had a little bit of HP left, then it became immune to my attacks and started Choco-Comet-ing me to death. He was pretty awesome, though.
