What do you think of them? I like them a bit. But some have been better than others.
Which is your favourite?

Triangles what are you talking about?

Cloud/Aeris/Tifa perhaps?
Cecil/Kain/Rosa Maybe?

well the magus sisters form a triangle when summoned
aeris did go on a date with cloud but not enough to make that a triangle

I would like to point out that FF9 had no triangle, it was merely a crush by Eiko, so no triangle, it was 2-part.

Cloud/Aeris/Tifa perhaps?
Cecil/Kain/Rosa Maybe?
Neither of those are proper triangles. C/T/A is in that same nebulous status as Tenchi Muyo, but then it quite solidly becomes C/T both by choice and by default, and Cecil and Rosa were a couple before the game even began. It was an envy by Kain, not a proper triangle.

Didn't she date Kain to beging with?

Cinna/ Cinna's Hammer / Cinna's Garnet Doll is my favorite triangle.

If you don't count Kain/Cecil/Rosa and Cloud/Aeris/Tifa, then that kindof destroys most of them. The only ones I can think of are Squall/Rinoa/Seifer and Tidus/Yuna/Seymore (Although I'm not sure if that one counts)
Cinna/Cinna's Hammer/Cinna's Garnet Doll gets my vote.

Tidus/Yuna/Seymore counts.

How has anyone not mentioned Squall/Rinoa/Seifer?
Squall is so warm for Seifer's form.
EDIT: When did I stop reading posts?

How long has a triangle had two sides? I'm pretty sure Tifa and Aerith weren't an item in the C/T/A 'triangle'.

Not as I have ever heard, and I've played FF4 rather a lot.

Japanese source materials for FFIV state that Rosa indeed allowed Cain to court her before dumping him for Cecil.

I'm a fan of them, especially when the females outnumber the males by 3:0

Any idea where I might get my grubby mitts on these materials? I rather liked 4 and more info on it would be appreciated.

Outside of print sources, I think the game's Japanese Wikipedia article (http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/ファイナルファンタジーIV) might have the information. I'd check in Cain's profile particularly.

My favourite is Squall, Rinoa and Zell. They're the three that I finally managed to put down Ultimecia with, once and for all.

I trust Wiki as far as I can throw it, personally, but thanks for the point in the right direction. They may have a link to something a little more... reliable.

I can't vouch for the Japanese pages but on the English Wiki we have a very good team working on the Final Fantasy pages. We have received several awards already (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Final_Fantasy#Achievements). :D
Even if some goof changes the pages, it gets fixed within 2-3 hours because every day someone from our team (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Final_Fantasy#Participants) watches the FF pages like a hawk to keep them accurate.

If we're talking about love triangles, I'm not really too excited about them, although Cloud/Tifa/Aeris was alright, provided it counts as a love triangle.

Or Terra/Locke/Rachel if you're a TerraXLocke fan.

I don't, but I also don't doubt the same insane devotion of fanboys and the like, and have seen horrible wiki-wars of the like. If it's not a big issue, I will usually trust Wiki, which I will now, but nothing beats the prime source, which was what I was implying as more authoritative. I can be anal about getting prime source documents sometimes.

My favorite triangle is an isoceles with two 89-degree angles and one 2-degree angle.
However, in the context presented by this thread:
Cinna/ Cinna's Hammer / Cinna's Garnet Doll is my favorite triangle.
