Um, alright, right now I'm extremely drunk, so I might realize this post is extremely stupid or something later on; but whatever, I actually like it a lot.
If it only were possible to feel like this all the time, then life would've been a lot easier.
I mean, I can handle this, I don't behave like an idiot or anything, but I DO become really spontaneous and whatnot: I stop over-analyzing, and I just follow my instincts.
I know it's a very cheap way to solve social problems, but I sure as hell am gonna enjoy it now while it lasts. :D

Don't you agree with me on this?
Being drunk IS pretty funny every now and then, as long as you behave.

Yeah, it always puzzled me too.

Umm...when I was 3, I got drunk...my dad left his beer bottle on the table with a bit still in it and I wanted to be "Just like daddy" so I drank it..mom said I was stumbling all over XD

I do not understand how people CAN'T type well when they are drunk. On the rare occasion that I do get drunk, I type very well.

I get drunk regulary, when I go out with my mates that is. I don't mind being drunk to the extent that I manage to control myself however when I lose control for whatever reason I hate it.

Once in a while is fine with me ( New Year's Baby) but being drunk all the time is no fun at all. I wouldn't even be able to play any of my games, two tv screens is no fun to look at.

Emma, it's because you're the type, like myself, who make enough typos when sober! Your drunk typing is so funny though. :p

I can't stand to look at a computer screen when I'm drunk, it hurts my eyes and makes me dizzy.

Sunglasses help a bit.

That's new to me. :D

But seriously, it's ain't that hard to type well when you're drunk.
I always spellcheck my posts, and I instantly discover possible misspellings; I simply don't post a post (:p) if I find any misspellings whatsoever; it ain't happening.

Being drunk's pretty nice, as long as you maintain a decent level of self-control. Otherwise it can be a bit embarrassing the following day. As for typing, I don't think I've ever been online while drunk, so I've no idea how I'd fare. My co-ordination's normally rather good even when I've had a few drinks, but on the other hand my posts are normally full of typos anyway, so it'd be interesting to see what happens. :D

That post was typo-free though :D

I'll be sure to make a post my first time being drunk ;) Just to see what it's like.

I drink only about up to four times a month, at maximum (during the school year anyway). I like being drunk at parties because it makes it easier for me to meet new people, it is also fun as hell when you're outside with nothing to do.

Although I usually do things I regret and don't remember the next morning, so I don't like getting drunk when that happens. Stick to drugs plz <3.

edit: As for typing drunk, I usually make errors and notice I make the errors, but I'm too drunk to care that I made those errors and just keep typing.

Typos are caused by positive brainwave wibbles. When you're drunk, you produce negative wibbles. If you can synchronise perfectly it's like two waves cancelling eachother out, and you'll have perfect clarity of thought.

I think I made that theory up while I was drunk :/

I've never been drunk, so I don't know.

However, I've seen plenty of people (friends and close family) drunk, and I don't like what I see. Except when they fall over, in which case it then becomes both acceptable and amusing.

Hah. Wow. I was a little buzzed last night. But I wasn't drinking. I want to drink, but can't because of wrestling season. But yeah. I was at my girlfriends feeling all sickly and she gave me Nyquil and sent me home to bed. I can't take a full dose of Nyquil. But I didn't remember that until afterwards. I was half stumbling down the street and talking to myself. I had to concentrate to walk straight and not slur my words. Sadness.

Typing is hard when your drunk, i always make mistakes, and tell people how much i love them on this site. xD

There should be a thread that people post in only when their drunk, talk about spam thread of the century! Only problem is everyone will be getting wasted all the time. :meatwad:

I would rather deal with my problems than avoid them with a drug. Besides, alcohol is unhealthy in a lot of ways.

You got that right buddy. I was really drunk earlier, then I stopped drinking. Kinda stupid thing to do really. Well, it wasn't but it was. If I kept on drinking I wouldn't have this sodding headache right now!

I feel more irritable that a grumpy rino.

I drink socially with my friends on a regular basis, but only on some occasions do we get drunk. Like, whenever we go into town, and birthdays.

I recently, just decided, out of nowhere, out of nowhere decided, that I am from this day fourth for the rest of my life going to be Straight Edge.
I have many reasons, all of which are too serious for me to really talk about, but I'll do it anyway;
My father is an alcoholic among many things, and I'm really not too fond of it, for obvious reasons. Also, seeing as I am his son and everything, we are sort of alike, and therefore I really enjoy being drunk. I do get the feeling I want to be drunk all of the time. Every second of the day. Because everything is so much easier then. I guess I am just a weak willed person, but I get addicted to things easily like my father does. I decided complete abstinence from alcohol and drugs is going to be better for me in the long run. It's something I believe in. It makes me feel stronger, blah blah blah :blahblah:

Well, not being much of a drinker since I'm only 15, I never drink more than three glasses of alcohol and only drink when I attend a dinner or an event etc.

My family members say that my face gets red after two glasses and when I drank my third glass I was feeling a little dizzy and walking like some weirdo with jelly legs.

Yeah, I type extremely well when I get drunk. I have to make sure to specify I'm drunk otherwise I'll be held accountable for what I do. God forbid.

As a British person, being drunk is a huge part of my culture :D

Using alcohol to an advantage really is a fine art, and only acceptable when socialising. After a few I stop being shy and therefore become a much better person socially and say things that I want to say (which are generally good things). I'm much more rational than the shy quiet person which I dislike.

Once properly drunk though it starts to get embarrassing. The decreased inhibition goes too far and I make an idiot of myself. Once blitzed I should be banned from messageboards, where I'll have a habit of getting overly affectionate and/or posting rather um... risqué self photos (not on kids messageboards like this one obviously, not even when hammered, that should go without saying)

Using alcohol for "benefit" isn't always good though. You should never do so at work or before driving for example.
Also, some people just become angry when they're drunk and start fights - these types should give it up.

Additionally, drinking the right amount for the social benefit is difficult and takes practice. The more you drink the more the self inhibitors are drowned out, which is great for a shy person. But at the same time judgement becomes impaired so it's very easy to drink too much and become too confident (and with bad judgement) leading to very embarrassing situations. They key is knowing (from experience) how much you need to drink to reach the sweet spot and then stopping there - or if you choose to continue, trying to avoid anything irreversible :D
