Does anyone know how to work this thing? There's supposed to be an icon in the section where the time is (I don't know it's name), but there isn't one so I can't upload music to the thing. Sorry if it is unclear, but I'm really flustered at this point.

When I put the Sansa in the USB port, an icon is supposed to appear in the taskbar. For some reason, it isn't appearing on my computer, and as such, I can't get music onto it.

look in your My Computer folder to see if there's a removeable disk that shows up there when you plug it in and transfer stuff that way?

Maybe your USB port doesnt work. That happened to me last Christmas. Just try each individual USB and see if that makes a difference.
