Metal Slug Anthology (Wii)

What do you think of the Wii version of Metal Slug Anthology? I just read the IGN review they basically said that 'it's a compilation of seven arcade classics the games are great by themselves but it's marred by horrible presentation, bad control schemes, and a lack of extras overall the game as a package is a letdown.' I'll probaby still get the Wii version of Anthology though I've never played Metal Slug before so I want to see what I've been missing.

I played this with a friends and didn't have any problems with the controls (we used the scheme where you hold the remote like when playing NES Virtual Console games). I thought everything else was fine, though I only played through Metal Slug 1 and 2, so I'm not sure about extras. Still, I enjoyed the part of it that I played thoroughly.
