When I was pretty young, I remember I used to watch Arthur (you know, the cartoon based on the book about the Aardvark kid with glasses?) and there was this one episode where they said that if you don't replace your calander right away on the New Year, the New Years Police would take you away to jail. I... kind of believed it. xD So, I always changed my calander right before bed at midnighton New Years Eve.

This year, I went to be before midnight though, because I wasn't in a very good mood, so I didn't get to replace my old Spongebob calander with my NEW Spongebob, and I felt really weird until I remembered the New Years Police thing. xD

Anyway... do you replace your old calander with your new year calander quickly, or do you forget and take a while. Also, what is your new calander this year?

I like to update mine quickly. I usually have Far Side calendars, and they're quite funny, so it's an incentive to keep track of them.

Ummm. My last year's calendars are still up on December >_< I have two each year....and I have a 2007 one that my mum got but its kinda boring. So I ordered a Kingdom Hearts one from ebaaay. And, that's from the US so won't be here for a while. xD So I'll probably leave up the old ones until that gets here..or until my mum takes them down ^_^;;

I dont want to take my Rasmus calender down, there wasnt another one for this year ;_______;
It has January 07 on December though, but really really tiny, so I can cling onto it for one more month!

Suprize, suprize, my calendars have cats and kittens on them. I have a few for this year for home and for work. I also have a daytimer for work that has cats on every page. I do get one given to me at work, but I would rather use my own. :cat:

I always start the new calendars right on January 1...not the night before before because I heard that it is bad luck to start it before its time. Not that I'm superstitious or anything. :)

I had a Jeopardy page-a-day calendar. I threw it away this morning. It had a good run. I don't even have a 2007 calendar yet. You can get them pretty cheap a couple of weeks from now. :P

I usually have cat's and kittens on my calenders, but this year my mum got me one with puppies on. :bigsmile: Most of the time I change it on the 1st of January, which I did today. :p

In 2003 I got this Japanese artsy calender and it's still on my wall. I've never once taken the time to flip the page past January. To me it's always January 2003.

My calendar is in Waco, an hour and a half away, still set on December. I'll change it later this week when I go back.

I didn't get my preferred calendar for 2006 so this year I'm replacing nothing with my 2007 calendar. This year's calendar, like my first ever calendar for 2005, is Star Trek: Ships of the line. However, I forgot to put it up yet...

That was an awesome episode, by the way.

I replace mine whenever my parents replace them, which is usually within a week.

I didn't have one 2006, but I put my 2007 calendar up as early as the start of december :p At first I had a family calendar (the ones where each family member gets their own column to write in), but since that was unnecessary, and my family wanted one, we traded. Therefore, I now have a Greenpeace calendars, you know, with penguins and whales and big landscapes and such.

I usually rely on my friends to buy me calenders. One of them did last year, and it was a great calender. Definitely made the beginning of each month less painful. But I don’t have as many friends anymore, and the ones that are left are not too familiar with my calender needs.

i forget to replace the old calendar for a while, but never long. it's almost the second day into 2007 and i am just reminded to take down the one for 2006 in my room. i don't bother much with having a calendar in my room every year. i rely on the cellphone for many things instead of using a calendar as a giant sticky pad.

My mum had got me a Dragon one for 2006, but she lost it so she got something to do with cute animals instead.

This year she got me a gorgeous Winnie the Pooh calendar, with original artwork in it :D

I replaced my calendar before I went out on December 31st, so it would be on the right month when I got home in the mornning. As usual, my parents bought me the Arsenal FC calendar, so every night in January I go to bed with the steely gaze of Jens Lehmann watching over me. :D

I usually put my calendar up within a few days, though I haven't put my newest one up yet. It's a Japanese-art calendar, it's got some awesome pictures and stuff in it.

But nothing will ever beat the awesomeness that was the Halo 2 calendar I had a few years back.

Arthur is such an annoying program, and he looks nothing like an aardvark. Also, there is only one letter that differs from his full name and mine. Oh the constant mocking! :(

But anyway, I've still got a Halo 2 calendar that I won in a raffle on my wall. That was from 2004. :bigsmile:

I haven't had a calender for a couple of years. We have one calender in the house now that all the family use, so we all know what eachother are doing on certain days etc. It hasn't been replaced yet. :jess:

For a personal calender, I just use my college planner. The other day I was given a calender by an Indian restaurant me and my boyfriend went to on New years eve, but I gave it to him.
