You know "Automatic biographies" (sp?) as it is writen from the celebrities view point does it include stuff from before they were actually celebritties (e.g. Their life as a child) or does it just start when the started doing what ever it is they're famous for (e.g. Singing)?

I'm asking becuase I don't have any and the only one I'm likely to buy (If he has one) is Jacko's and he was a celebrity for all his life - so my question won't aply to him.

I'm pretty sure they include their whole life.

I've only read one, or part of one, Geri Halliwells.
It included her childhood.
I think most would include the whole life?

Definition of Autobiography (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial&hs=MX8&q=define%3A+autobiography&btnG=Search)

It wouldn't be an autobiography if it didn't include their 'life story'. If it only had their 'life since their famousity' it would be labeled something else, like a career documentation or something.
