View Full Version : Hmm, torrent problem

I have a torrent that has 2156 files in it (according to ISOhunt, which doesn't list them all) and it won't work in BitComet. When I try to open it I get the error message "Incorrect length of piece in the torrent file." According to the site there are 30 seeds and 50 leechers, so that's at least 80 people who can use it. :P

What can I do to fix this?

Redownload the torrent file, it sounds corrupt :p

Try searching some other torrent sites (like torrentz, it seems to be rather all-inclusive) and see if you can maybe find another copy of the exact same torrent? It's not much of a suggestion, but if the torrent file's corrupt, that seems like the only choice. And I don't know enough about how torrents function to suggest otherwise. :p

Ah, there we go. I got it from Mininova and it worked. Such an obvious suggestion. :P

STOP STEALING CONTENT AND PUTTING THOSE POOR MOVIE STARS OUT OF A JOB.

Man no wonder the MPAA has trouble stopping people pirating. It doesn't even sound legitimate.

Well then shame on you, we have libraries for that kind of thing >:[

Also to answer your question, anime fans.

Anime fans would probably have that on CDs/DVDs, I doubt most have space on their HD for that much (yet) :p
