Latest drawing in pastel, entitled ''Almost Time'' enjoy lol

:D hey every1 as some of u might no i have posted stuff on here before my last main drawing was the ''Its Got Soul'' piece, well here is my newest 1 and its a couple of firsts for me because its my first colour drawing and its my first time using pastels [pastel pencils from derwent].
This is now my 10th drawing since i started 19 months ago and felt it was time to dabble with some colour and i was quite pleased with the result, its not 100% finished yet just need to fiddle with some lighting and detail but i though you all might like a look.
Im going to submit it for an exhibition in a London gallery called The Mall Galleries but its got to go infront of a commity to c if its good enough to get chosen, if it does end up being picked i will let you all no just incase there are some Londoners on this website that want to go and look.
Anyway here are a few pictures, 1 to give you an idea of size and the rest are close ups, i tryed to get the best pics i could with my camera i hope they are ok, it was a little to bit big to scan lmao.:p

thx for the comments every1, glad to c u like it. As for techniques i used just blending with the actual pastel pencils, my fingers and occasionally cotton wool ear buds. It felt nice to use colour this time after doing all my privious stuff in 2 tone.
it took me about 6 weeks to complete and i worked on it in the evenings after doing my floor laying job, id say about 25 hours a week its hard to say for sure but long enough lol.
