I looked at porn when I was a little chump, and was first discovering the wonders of the internet.
It was a pretty intense fight to stop, actually. If I had the guts to say it, I'd say that porn is almost an addiction, because once you start looking at it, you can't stop. And then you want more and more and more graphic and...ugh.
But I broke that addiction. Stayed straight and pornless for, like, 4 years. Of course, it comes up occassionally, when you're not looking for it, but that's just one gross aspect of life that reminds me of how sorry I once was and how sad the world still is, and how sadder still that people like the addicted porn whore I once was are probably being created every day.
It brings a tear to my eye until I come to this happy, clean place where nobody talks about how the deep, dark, slimy corners of the world are actually the major composition of everything that exists.

As for me, I have looked in on a few porn sites and it did very little for me, I believe sex to be participant sport not spectator sport. I would be lying through my teeth as would most people if they claimed that Porn internet based or not has no affect on them, everyone to an extent is vicarious in that sense.

I don't think there's anything sad about porn or people who look at it. I think porn addicts are kind of sad, but that's not the majority of people who look at porn.

I find that there is truth in these posts.
I browse for porn a lot. I prefer softcore though, both drawn and real.
And for the record, the vast majority of the internet traffic today is file sharing, not porn :p. I don't remember the exact figures, but it was definitely above 75%. Ofcourse, some of this could be porn, but I'm putting my money at the 1000000 teenagers who want the new episode of Bleach, Naruto, Family Guy, etc etc each week.
