I was wondering does anyone here still own a regular Nintendo DS? I do...I'll admit the remodeled DS Lite looks cool but I refuse to buy it until the Big N creates one that comes in my favorite color.

I have it!!! I like my big, chunky DS. I bought it when they first came out and I have a FFVII: Advent Children skin coming in the mail soon. Nintendo is probably going to do what they did with GBA by producing new models every year. It's getting tiring.

I have the older model. I don't have the money to go out and buy every new version of every handheld. The big DS is fine with me.

I actually think the bigger DS fits better in my hands

Electric Blue DS and Jet Black DS Lite.

Although my regular DS is going to my brother as soon as I bother to send it to him. It was a birthday gift. His birthday was last August. :)

I got a white DS Lite like a month before they released the pink one. :(

I got a black DS Lite, I like it better than the old style one.

I don't like white, black, and pink but...If Nintendo released a blue DS Lite I'd buy it because blue's my favorite color.

I got the original DS Lite for my birthday and it was my first one.

I prefer the Lite much more. All my friends have a DS Phat and I reckon that they're too hard to see sometimes.

I have the original version, silver and all. I prefer it to the LITE model in terms of shape and weight.

I just waited 'til Lite came out, and got that one. It's bright and lovely~

If I had a DS, UI wouldn't get a DSLite. But I don't, so I got a black ("onyx") DSLite, which I like. I'd rather have a blue one, but Black is fine. My favorite thing about it, besides the backlit screen and the small size is the fact that it's shiny. SHINY!!

I have a freaking awsome blue DS. I prefer the regular DS to the lite. although it does suck since EVERYTHING is for the DS lite now.

I got the original for my birthday a couple of years ago, I think it had just come out and I'm still happy with it. Although the DS Lite does look cool, but I can't afford to buy it, and I don't think there's much point if I already have a DS.

i think the old ds is an eyesore. ds lite is one slick equipment. 39 percent smaller, better battery life, brightness settings, lighter and is so shiny it hurts my eyes :mog:

i recommend you get one even if you got the original, well worth the money...no regrets. :choc2:

I had the launch silver DS, then donated it to someone less fortunate so I could get the Electric Blue DS. Then I got the Blue DS lite, but I still have my Electric Blue DS.

I have a big, bulky DS. I want a lite, but I'd rather get 3 games than buy a new system that will play the same games as a system I already have.

I got rid of it to get ds lite, I miss it a little cos I was fond of it ^_^ The chunkyness/size/appearance didn't bother me too much although I though the blue should have ACTUALLY been the blue shown on the box... rather than silvery blue.

But eh, love the DS lite now, and the more I've used it the more I love it, and really just the screens look soooo good, I wouldnt wanna go back :3 Another colour or edition might be nice though. :D But maybe I'll keep my old one this time. Bit of an overspender. XD

I have an old DS, but I don't like the way it's built. Too chunky and big. The lite is more my style, though! Won't buy one probably though. More of a PSP fan.
