The name cheesecake is very misleading. I SEE NO BREAD in my cheesecake. If anything it looks more like a pie with its creamy goodness and delicious crust.

What say YOU!?

With the following, one can deduce that NOT EVERYTHING IS IN A NAME
I drive on a parkway and PARK ON A DRIVEWAY

I agree! This blasphemy against pie has gone on long enough.

CAKE! YOU SHALL NEVER WIN!

Knowing my luck, it’s probably a pie. Whatever it is, it doesn’t change the way I feel about it.

"Real" cheesecakes usually have some kind of cream cheese in them.

The only cheesecake I ever tasted was one that a girl made for me, but she messed it up and made me eat it anyway, so I don't think it was supposed to taste like that. She'll have a surprise coming when I'm making my cucumber & potato chocolate cake.

As for your question, I don't know. Cattle cake is hardly a cake, but I wouldn't calll it a pie either. Hmm.

I don't fucking care what it is termed as, for in all reality, it is termed with one simple thing:

It's fucking good.

Whether it is a pie or cake does not change this simple fact. Hell, it's probably above pie and cake. It's a style and category all its own.

Cheesecake is just a category for the greatest fucking thing ever created by man.

It's definitely a pie. My senior class hosted an investigation and determined that it was so.

I hybrid of both?

I am not a big cream cheese person, too much is gross. So the only cheesecake I like is cheery cheesecake. I do not like cherries but I like the sauce, so I pick off the cherries.

As long as it tastes good, I don't really care. xD I'll just say cake since it has cake in its name. Yeah.

Just eat the crust and leave the rest of that crap in some sort of trap to get somebody messy.

I'd say that it's technically a pie, but really, who cares? It's good, that's all I need to know. :D

The second deffinition of cake in my dictionary is a flattish compact mass. So i'd say it was a cake.

I say it is a cake, because cheesepie doesn't have the same ring to it.

Yeah. But to answer the question, I would say pie. No way in hell is it cake.
