Okay, so apparently "plutoed" was named Word of the Year for 2006... by the American Dialect Society. I didn't even know we had a dialect society!
Anyway, to pluto is to be demoted or devalued, kinda like Pluto was when it was determined that the poor little ball of ice was no longer a planet. Has anyone heard of that word, though? Do you think it'll suddenly become vogue to use?
Also, another question: What do you think was EoFF's Word of the Year? I'm voting for "maricked".
