If you owned a pig farm and a vegetable farmer wanted you to give him dung for his plants would you give it to him for free or would you make the guy pay for it?

Personally I'd give it to him. I'm not that low of a person. Besides, I don't have any use for it.

He'd have to collect it himself.

Actually, I'd go for the chicken-sh--. That makes for the best raw fertilizer, but it is the absolute most fowl smelling stuff in the world.

Pun intended. You can tell by the spelling error, obviously. But seriously, yo, chicken crap is the WORST! Worse than dog, human.

GAH! Except cat! Cat piss and cat crap is DEFINITELY the WORST!

I believe there is a real business in selling the waste products of livestock as fertilizer.

Yeah, but it's a pretty crappy one!

No, seriously, I simply don' have enough animals to make a profit on it, and I really do use the stuff to keep my grass fields well nourished.

But I know many people who harvest animal crap and sell it and whatnot.

Chicken is good. Cow pies are also excellent fertilizer, and that's what I spread around most.

I guess we could work out a basic agreement where I'd give him fertilliser if he gave me any leftover or old vegetables to feed the pigs.

If he was wiling to come pick it up himself, then sure. But if, for some reason, he wanted me to bring it to him, I would make him pay.

I would charge him. I paid for the pig feed and I have a garden that crap could be going to.

LOL PUN.

Common sense? From Psy? Does...not...compute...

But, yeah, I'd do something like that.

If I ever built up the courage to suggest it to him, I’m sure he’d be able to talk me out of it. So no.

you wouldn't be getting very much in the way of flora until the end of the harvest season. I hope you have plenty of grass to last all summer.

I have an emotional attachment to those creatures and, therefore, to their waste.
If he wants to take that little bit of my heart away, he's going to have to pay for it.
