Yay! I finally have a week-end I can spare to go back and see my parents! They've been living inside for a few weeks, but I'm going to have to stay in the trailer still, since I haven't got a new bed yet. (I have no idea how you would get smoke out of fabric/mattress anyway)

anyways, I've already been made to promise pictures of my mussie, but I'll try to get some more! My dad sent me some of my room (no carpet yet, so no progress, god am I going to stay here for thanksgiving?!) ...

Yeah, I did just now. This is the second time within a rather short time span that I've started choking on something! A terrifying prospect when you live alone

Anyways, by keeping my cool, trying to breathe through my nose (it was hard, but I couldn't stop my spasming throat from coughing to breathe through my mouth), and eventually managed to expectorate the damn stuff!

The honeymoon period is still going strong!

I've gotten pretty good at feeling my key when it's still in my pockets to unlock/lock, and I haven't set the alarm off yet!

The best way to start is is to step into the car so that my right foot steps on the brake, then push the starter, and while it ignites, shut the door and put on my seatbelt. O, Efficiency!

I have three alarms set, about 15 minutes apart.

For the first one, I woke up and it was still night outside my window. I said 'wtf'

For the second, I woke up and it was DAWN RED in my kitchen (faces east). I said 'cool, but WTF'

For the third, I woke up, and it was actually darker looking than it was the second time. I said 'ugh, cloudy'

When my grandparents died, I got a sizeable sum as inheritance. It's been sitting in my parents' account since then, but the planets finally aligned, and now I have a new midnight blue 2010 Nissan Altima (yes, I waited for the model year clearance sales xD)

The coolest thing about this car so far has been the keyless everything. Put the key in my pocket, it emits a weak RF (I imagine) signal so that when you stand next to the doors/trunk, you are authenticated, and can use push-buttons ...

I'm supposed to be working on a presentation I give this afternoon, but mostly I wanted to complain about how the wifi in the ME building sucks now. I think they took a router out or something, but I can't stream my radio station very well anymore keeps having to stop to buffer.
