Don't worry about being "meaningful"; it can be hard to figure that stuff out at first! I say you just get him a nice shirt or something, so you two can go out somewhere nice and he can wear it!

We get the same ads here in Australia. Maybe if everybody campaigned on their own platforms and not trying to discredit their opposition, we'd have a better political system.
Yeah I've been seeing these campaign commercials all my life and they still seem so bizarre to me.
