Final Fantasy is a video game series that most people at this website like. Some of them like it so much, they write about it in their blog. Hence, this category.
So much irony in me saying these words. My thoughts are with the Square Enix team working on the Final Fantasy VII Remake and I wish them all the best. The amount of pressure they're going to get working on something that is considered the best RPG of all time by millions could kill a person. No matter what they do, people are going to bitch when the game doesn't live up to their expectations. They could keep EVERYTHING from the original game in it and I still predict ...
Final Fantasy XIII is a game I haven't talked a lot about on my blog or social media, so allow me to start this rant off with my thoughts on the game. I didn't like it. Now, ever since I made my feelings of this game known, I have had several people from the FFXIII fan community (apparently this exists) that has come out of the woodwork to explain to me why I'm wrong and should give the game a second chance to the point of excessive nagging. So, allow me to address each ...
Women's Month is behind us, and for the month of April things are looking a little more retro. Have a look: Apr 1st Apr 8th Apr 15th Apr 22nd Apr 29th ...
Happy New Year! 2015 is literally a day away, and we have some great things planned for the new year. Who's we? The voices in my head. They don't like me to acknowledge them too much because they're shy, and they say it will get me put in a white jacket or something. We are just three reviews away from ToriJ's 100th Review. It's going to be a wild month because not only am I reviewing a RPG, I'm reviewing a game based off a TV show, my first MMO ever, and a movie adaption of a video game. I think ...
I know, I've been doing a lot of blogging lately. I find it to be the best way to promote myself without adding more mass to my post count, plus I just like blogs. But you don't want to hear about all that, chances are if you took the time to click this you want to know what my 100th review is going to be about. First, I'm going to drag this out to build hype, and hope it doesn't occur to you to scroll down to see what the game is. Don't touch that mouse! I've been doing this for ...
ThanksGaming Month is that special time of year where we give thanks to the games that has come and gone through our lives. From the old days of the Atari 2600, to the current generation of gaming, it's a time of year to honor everything that has, is, and will be. Basically, it's a wordplay on Thanksgiving to give us an excuse to talk about games. It's also the time of year where I like to review the classics from various console generations. So, without further ado, here's the ThanksGaming II lineup! ...
Ordered this last Monday and it came in the mail yesterday. I'm now one FF away from owning all of the classics. A hard copy of Chrono Trigger is just gravy. Case, instructions manual, both discs in good condition and play well. It's like buying the game brand new.
Is it approaching Autumn time already? Damn, what happened to summer? Oh, who am I kidding, I hate summer. I'm ready for the temperature to cool down, but I am not ready for winter, which I am sure will find a way to extend its time like it always does. Anyway, check out what I have in store to kick off the new season! I'm going to Branson on the 8th for a long overdue vacation so there will be no review that week. September 3rd ...
