Good point, i only just finished ff7 yesterday and i just find it weird how you don't actually fight sephiroth himself until the end considering that you have countless run ins with him. But trust me, he has ALWAYS meant business. If you have never played ff7 yourself i suggest you do, you wont regret it
From what I do know of Sephiroth, yes. Admittedly, I've only seen my husband play FFVII, never done so myself. But I do know some basic facts of him .. and enough that can match up and make me say yeah, basically. I do think he was portrayed better in FFVII: Advent's Children though. He came off as a more serious person, one that actually meant business. I never got that feeling from him much in the games ... though that may be just myself.
Yeah well it kinda just sucks that Jester only appeared more than a few times in the game in the special edition only, they could of really used him a lot more even then and during the original version of dmc3. The Joker is pretty much the main bad guy out of all the villains in the dc comics and in just super heroes in general. And Sephiroth is just the perfect bad guy, He's so sick and deranged. Cloud vs Sephiroth and Batman vs the Joker are really similar in a way once you think about it even though there both from completely different universes, wouldn't you agree?
Thank you. The Joker is no doubt good and probably in other games but I've only seen him in Injustice. But from what I did see, damn did he shine there, probably more than most of his other games. Just because of how he pushed Superman so hard and far ... Jester is one of the few more comical villains that not only I found myself liking but wanting to return and see him again. And I stand by the logic I used on the thread; he played everyone - Dante and Vergil included - for a fool ... like a boss. Few others could do that.
Great list! The Joker, Jester from Devil May Cry 3 and Sephiroth are some of my favorite villains from any video game
