everyone is a little racist, even without knowing it.
    ive got a nice example;

view weeks ago in the bus a girl entered. she looked (as my bf sayd so nicely)' Alternative', she had some piercings, slipknot vest on and a bit gothic-ish.
as she 'registerd' her bus card, which she hid in a wallet like most ppl do, the busdriver asked for her to show the card.
it turned out to be a card of her uncle and becaus of that she's not alowed to travel with it.
so she had to pay with cash or get out.

a minut later my boyfriend said to me: 'thats racist! he wouldnt ask for her card if she was 'normal' '
on which i answered: 'if she was 'normal' you wouldnt have said anything about it'.
    he admited that.

we only see racism if its about 'alternatives'
    so thats racism :P

The problem with the term racism is that it's gotten married to having any problem with any part of a culture that is predominantly a certain race. I can't call someone a thug because it's racist. I can't dislike sagging pants because It's racist. I can't dislike the anti-white rhetoric on BET because that makes ME racist.

I work around a lot of poor kids, many of which are black (and some of which are not) who are part of a culture of entitlement as a result of living in a community where everyone has learned to best exploit the welfare system. I work around kids who hate effort and reward nothing except apathy... even in sports. Trying to hard is a bad thing. Worse yet, if you're a black person who has tried hard (like our assistant principal) the entire community hates you because you "act white."

I hate the CULTURE that has created this and many of these people are black. They have attached their skin color so much to their culture that I cannot judge a single bit of their abhorrent culture without being labeled racist.

So yeah... sometimes I have to mention that I'm not racist. I am decidedly culturist though. I believe some cultures are better than others. It's a grey area, but I think a culture that forces women to walk around in sheets and tells them they are at fault for being raped is inferior to a culture where women have equal rights to personhood and education. I believe that a culture where intellectual achievement is prized rather than spit upon is superior.

If I see you walking around in a certain outfit, talking a certain way and acting a certain way... obvious cultural artifacts, I may have a problem with you no matter what color you are. If that happens to be stereotypically associated with a particular race, that's not my fault.

Hey guess what ? I was 3 years old when this philosophy was realized
I asked mom: how do you know I am your child?
    she said there were witnesses.

    I didn't ask my follow-up questions.

Wouldn't it be more constructive to make the same type of picture and encourage people to learn as much about the bottom row as they have about the top row? I suppose it feels better on top of a pedestal, though.

I think most people at least know the candidates. It'd be a much bigger disparity if it asked about Congressional leaders or Supreme Court justices.
