Actually - It's impossible to operate under one banner (which is why the black market and criminals exist regardless of the amount of laws) - the various branches of Christianity simply illustrate that people will want to leave and set up their own systems when they have evaluated the existing one as undesired.

I could make a similar image for any group - for 'Atheists', ...

[I]6:30 a.m. You are awakened by your clock radio. You know it is actually 6:30 because the National Institute of Standards and Technology keeps the official time. And you can listen to your favorite radio station only because the Federal Communications Commission brings organization and coherence to our vast telecommunications system. It ensures, for example, that radio stations do not overlap and that stations signals ...

  6. A defense of child labour.

    http://speaklibertynow.com/2013/03/20/defense-child-labour/

Nowadays, the idea of child labour is viewed as an abhorrent relic of a bygone era – one of an unregulated, free market, dangerous factory environment, where children suffered at the hands of slave drivers. "In the US, there is a case in the courts right now. A border agent observed a US citizen viewing CP on his laptop. The cop took his computer and arrested him. But, he shut down the computer. When the cops restarted it, they learned that the files were PGP encrypted. Now, prosecutors want to force the defendant to turn over his passphrase." ...

  9. Lincoln

President Abraham Lincoln, known as the “Great Emancipator,” is widely regarded as a defender of black freedom who supported social equality of the races and led us into the American Civil War to free the slaves. According to Lincoln, “If slavery is not wrong, nothing is wrong.” Lincoln did,in fact, view slavery as an evil institution, but did not seek to abolish slavery because it was morally despicable. Rather, he only supported an end to slavery when he felt it became necessary to win the war. ...

  10. Thanksgiving

    :D

In 1637 near present day Groton, Connecticut, over 700 men, women and children of the Pequot Tribe had gathered for their annual Green Corn Festival which is our Thanksgiving celebration. In the predawn hours the sleeping Indians were surrounded by English and Dutch mercenaries who ordered them to come outside. Those who came out were shot or clubbed to death while the terrified women and children who huddled inside the longhouse were burned alive. The next day the governor of ...
