I just said I like Much Ado About Nothing! It's Joss Whedon and his stuff I don't care about. Also, I thought the DoctorDonna one was onstage???
I don't disagree, but I'm curious as to the criteria you are using to define stupidity/intelligence - emotional intelligence, pursuit of a career/education, generally being an asshole and/or making repeated stupid life choices, something else? In my experience, many intelligent people believe they are stupid, and it's the morons who are full of self-promotion and conviction. I, of course, am the exception, believing I am stupid but also being correct in thinking so.
The David Tennant/Catherine Tate production of Much Ado is smurfing hilarious and fully accessible to those who care not for bardolatry.
I actually like Much Ado About Nothing. I don't care one lick about Joss Whedon, and that's what the thread is about.
He's calling you gay, that smurfer.
Maybe he wanted you to think about why he would start a sentence with "don't take this wrong way" if he was just going to compliment you.
Maybe he didn't want you to think he was hitting on you? Or maybe he just thinks you pride yourself on wearing terrible shirts. Which I would not put past you.
That's my point. In what universe could "That's a nice shirt" be construed as offensive?
How can you take the 'the wrong way'? what is the wrong way?
I think it's about accepting what you're good at, and what you're not good at. Not everyone is stupid and I think everyone can be clever and offer something besides stupidity. Also, if you're stupid. Christ, I don't know what I am
Should just say "duel" and leave it open to interpretation, imo.
Stupidity is relative; If everyone's on the same level intelligence-wise, it's a meaningless term. I'm defining it here as being in the bottom third.
Depends on whether the punctuation. And if she is anaphoric.
I think you're being terribly terribly optimistic in saying that 2/3 people are not stupid. Stupid is contagious and there's no cure. How we've survived (and thrived) for as long as we have is nothing short of a miracle.
Snowflakes may be a bit of a stretch. We're definitely all beautiful flowers.
I imagine it would make arguing that much better. Also, this is why people stay away from the Maritimes. (SPOILER) is joke
I approve.
They are glorious.

Why is he even trying to cheer her up if she's not long for this world? He should be out making money. Spending time with a dying girl isn't going to make you any money.
