I get the feeling that FFXI will have another emergency maintenance tomorrow, and once again, it is sure to start as soon as I get out of bed and end once it's too late for me to play. Maintenance spanning all of my available playtime in FFXI again. Looks like S-E wants me to work on Operation Wanker.
Vacation's over. Time to go back to work. This also means that Operation Wanker has been resumed. I've actually already restarted, since there was a maintenance in FFXI that exactly coincided with my available game time. 16 more data gathering phases left, and then...ugh...data entry, like a glorified clerk. The only part of this project that will be fun will be the last phase and of course sharing it.
I really need a business plan to start my own business. Just so that I can name it Maynard Criminal Enterprises, Incorporated. Revenue Canada would love that.
So my vacation is now officially half over. So far during this vacation I have accomplished precisely jack with regards to Operation Wanker, but I'm on vacation, so screw it. Productive day in FFXI today, though; Got Super Christ his subjob items and upgraded a couple of pieces of Empyrean armour. Although objectively it didn't last that long, it feels weird as hell to have no time-specific obligations at EoFF with both the CK Competition and FFV Revisited! ending on the same day. So I'm definitely going ahead with Vana'diel Chronicles after my secret project; the idea has been taking off in my head. Problem is, I only have 3 volunteers out of six needed. So here's what I'm going to do: If I don't get my other 3 volunteers, I'll conscript 3 forum members. I'm thinking V22 and HC.
