One of my former co-workers just became a legally ordained atheist minister.

Literally anyone can become a legally ordained minister by filling out a web form from themonastery.org.

I considered doing the same thing myself, but I am not, at present, sufficiently intoxicated.

Here's what I'd love to see happen in WILTY?:

1) I come in as a player. One of my opponents gets hit with a lie I wrote. I get to say "$presenterName, you scun, I wrote that lie. Roll another."

2) Someone without a racist bone in their body pulls "I am deathly afraid of black people." Bonus points if the contestant in question is black.

Obviously, 2) is not going to happen in the game I present, since I posted it now and therefore ...

I get the feeling that FFXI will have another emergency maintenance tomorrow, and once again, it is sure to start as soon as I get out of bed and end once it's too late for me to play. I'm also ready to take a break from the drudgework in Operation: Wanker, at least for a day or two.

So, if this happens, is there anybody other than crusty oldbies who would give a rodent's hindquarters if I did another EoFF Audio Introduction?

Although objectively it didn't last that long, it feels weird as hell to have no time-specific obligations at EoFF with both the CK Competition and FFV Revisited! ending on the same day. I can actually play FFXI after work again!

But I'm not gonna.

Not this week, anyways. Next week I'm on vacation, and everything takes a back seat to relaxing and doing whatever the hell I want, which probably means a lot of FFXI and very little else.

So I'm definitely going ahead with Vana'diel Chronicles after my secret project; the idea has been taking off in my head. Problem is, I only have 3 volunteers out of six needed.

So here's what I'm going to do: If I don't get my other 3 volunteers, I'll conscript 3 forum members. I'm thinking V22 and HC. If V22 isn't on staff by then, I'll fill in the third slot with a staff member, and if he is, I'll conscript Iceglow.

I just had an awesome idea.

Once the CK competition and FFV Revisited are over and I've finished up my next 2 frontsite articles, I'm not going to get started on a FFXI spoof right away. I have a secret project that I'm not going to announce until it's done, but I assure you it will be more awesome than a Death Star filled with hyperintelligent bears with laser eyes.

It will be a blast from the past; it will not be EoFF-related but I'll post it here. It will be something ...

It's looking like FFV Revisited! will probably wrap up on Saturday, if I maintain the same pace I've been doing; after that, I intend to do a couple of actual FFXI-related articles for the front site, but after that, the time I've had dedicated to EoFF should get freed up, CK-competition permitting. I've been thinking of what to do next.

What about writing a story or stories, narrative-style, covering the events that occur in the primary story arc of FFXI, done as a spoof?
