There's a taco stand in Florida that serves up Lion meat tacos.

At one point this guy rides in on a scooter with a kitten in the basket with a rope leash around its neck. He gets off the bike, puts the kitten on the ground and kinda drags it into the restaurant with the cat squealing like a pig.

We've all heard the stories - they eat cats and dogs in China. So we're sitting there and talking about what's going to happen - are they really gonna kill and eat it? A minute later the guy leaves the restaurant with no cat. No more squealing to be heard either.

lol found a quote on the intertubes that brilliantly sums up Crysis 2's lack of continuity and the obvious plothole regarding main characters from the previous games, because you never find out what happened to them as they aren't even mentioned:

It was an infection of entitled COD loving console fanboys who didn't want to be left out plot-wise because they were too lazy/ignorant to get good PC and Crysis 1. Nomad fought back by saying "we have to resolve plot holes." Yeah for the past like however many years I've just been going "oh man crysis this will never run on my pc". My laptop is pretty bitchin' though. I'll see if I can pick it up cheap. Online downloads are still no because my internet is archaic.

Go get Crysis 1 already Jiro. It has the open-island gameplay of Far Cry. Or at least the first half of the game does, which is what everyone wanted more of in the sequel. And even on the lowest settings, which you can customize all you want as opposed to these ridiculously limited and stupidly named options the sequel gives you, it looks pretty good.

I saw the trailer of Crysis 2 today and was like "hey that looks alright". I guess not. I don't like tunnels and shooter tunnels are probably the thing I hate the most. I liked Far Cry 2 because I could bugger off wherever and shoot some africans or w/e they were. GIVE ME FREEDOM. Not that my PC is good enough for it, but I will avoid it now to make a point.

Actually I have the opposite problem where I pick a topic that's too simple and end up not having ENOUGH to write about. I'm a real stickler for brevity, so I end up having to go back and pad it with extra . Not cool.

I got a 5/10 for mine. Balls. I did sort of miss the point, but part of that was mostly because the question didn't relate to the subject at all. Took a gamble; lost. Next time I'll do better (still gonna gamble though!)

btw it turns out I got an 8,5 for that assignment. Apparently taking a risk and going with the optional harder assignment paid off. Now all that's left for me to do is own the smurfing exam and I'm back in the game.

I used to hate Tik Tok, but it's actually grown on me. Really catchy song even though her autotune and lack of hygiene makes me cringe.

I'm studying Journalism, not for any particular reason other than it involves writing. The classes in question were creative writing classes though which make it even more stupid. I just... it's a steady job, if I can get past my fear of interviewing people. I'd rather work in a magazine than newspapers or w/e so hopefully I can get into that.

500 words? Yeah those suck. I always end up writing too many arguments and it ends up being a major clustersmurf by the time I'm supposed to write a conclusion. What you studying?

I finished a "paper" yesterday. It has a 500 word limit. It's supposed to make you be precise and crap, but then they give us this huge open ended question to do and it's just like.. are you smurfing serious. If you approach it from the best and most interesting way, you will have an extremely flawed and not-at-all thorough argument. I did it anyway, smurf 'em.

Yeah I hate those assignments that are nothing but simple wrap-up jobs. They just don't compare to the satisfaction you get from writing a paper that's pretty awesome compared to what everyone else came up with.
