I had a girlfriend years ago that pulled the whole jealousy thing. I told her that her area smelled like a garbage barge. This relationship didn't last. Anyway, the jealously thing bothers me very much. I've been in a couple of relationships where the girl I was with went insane if any girl was within 500 yards of me. Okay, I'm exaggerating. It was more like 400.
:D hi. I can't read the article using work PC (i'll read it on my phone in a sec), but it's often a good thing for men to go on strike. I'm not saying don't get married or don't have sex, but opt out of ANY social role that one doesn't want to entertain.
that jealousy can easely be solved, Like u said, get to know that person that makes you jealous. and perhaps than you will see that he/she is no threath. i know a friend who's BF is extremely jealous. he doesnt even want her to go with the class on a trip :S he called her and didnt trust her. 'who do i on the background?' etc etc... if my BF would be like that i would get insane.
I read this whole article. It made me want to puke as well. I have a friend who got married back in October. She's a really awesome girl, and one of my best friends. But one night we were talking about jealousy in a realtionship, and I said there's no such thing as a healthy amount of jealousy. She disagreed. I think jealousy is a NATURAL feeling, but not HEALTHY. And I think your actions greatly determine your maturity. Say my hypothetical boyfriend hung out with a friend who was a girl. Would I get A LITTLE jealous? Probably. Would I get INSANELY jealous? Absolutely not. Would I be a bitch or do anything about it? No. That's stupid. And honestly, if you're going to be in a long-term relationship with someone, you should get to know (and try to befriend) their friends. As for a guy being jealous--it's not attractive. I broke up with a guy because he was too jealous. When I'd hang out with friends (girls too, but especially guys) he'd be a dick, and send me weird questions trying to trip me up to see if I was lying. I never was. And to me, that showed a lack of trust. Anyways, I'm only reiterating what you said, but there you go.
Quin: welcome to the party, though I think 8 months stretches the limits of "fashionably late." But you're right that my tag cloud is quite interesting.
Holy tit dude, this chick isn't going to survive the month.
I like how she totally goes to town with the battrout brigade calling for the eradication of black people then says that if people think she hates black people then they've "got her all wrong". O U.
...
Let's just take the mask off this Recession Monster and see who you really are... Why, it was Black People all along! You pesky rascals! I should've known you'd be behind all of this!
I think this is absolute ridiculous. You can't ask women complicated questions like that! ...heh heh heh... Also, the Tag Cloud makes me happy. "GOD OBAMA PLEDGE GAYNESS RELIGION". I can't believe God would condone such a thing. It's good to see He's getting with the times.
I laughed a lot. What an imbecile. Though I think she needs to do things more thoroughly. I think the world would be a better place without mankind at all. Who's with me? I know I'm right, you know I'm right, EVERYBODY knows I'm right.
Wow... while I certainly have some opinions about black culture and the problems therein (markedly formed by the people and children I'm around daily), I certainly don't think it says anything about all people who happen to have that color of skin. Calling for genocide is a pretty much the cake taker of all bigotry. Pretty damned silly. I'm trying to decide how I feel about the Mayweather comment. While part of me wonders if it is coming from a sense of racial superiority, perhaps his has a point. I certainly despise any sort of affirmative action BS that ends up raising any one person up based on how they are different (race, gender, etc.) and how their difference makes them more surprising rather than simply on the merit of how good they are at something. I don't care about sports and don't follow them, but even I haven't been able to avoid hearing about Jeremy Lin. I don't know if he's any good, but it would make me sick to think that he's being singled out as some sort of phenom just because he's not the stereotypical race for the sport.
I had to stop reading about halfway though because my desk started to crack where my head was slamming against it repeatedly.
Remon: thanks. I'll be updating the site pretty regularly until I at least get caught up on user submissions (still over a dozen left).
I love when people threaten legal action, but I would love it more if I were you.
Your site is hilarious.
As evidence of the atrocity of the Citizen's United decision, I was linked to this editorial. No facts to be found, just irrational, emotionally-charged doomsday propaganda. My favorite part is this: Already the Chamber of Commerce is promising to unleash the "largest, most aggressive" election-season spending spree in the organization's history. Chamber officials promise to "highlight lawmakers and candidates" who toe the corporate line and "hold accountable those who don't." Note that the entire substance of this accusation is both unquoted and uncited. A liberal website making trout up? No, only Fox News does that!
rubah: seriously? Well how the smurf should I know that?
Yeah, NBC, you cannot break the law like that.
Miss USA != Miss America, you dolt!
