I decided again to try to quit drinking. This isn't easy at all. I'm in the music business, where drinking is like breathing for a lot of people. But I've just lost any sense of enjoyment from my life. Even when I'm drunk, I feel like trout, the only difference is that I'm also drunk. So we'll see how it goes this time.

I've got eleventy billion cookbooks stored on my phone, saved recipes in my Opera Mini (stop laughing), a few dozen more bookmarked in Chrome, and a ton more written down in notebooks and magazine pages ripped out & stuffed in the divider pockets. Yes. I'm a recipe hoarder. I actually read an article about something along these lines... Reading cookbooks isn't necessarily about cooking the recipes found inside. I am back. Had a lot of fun. Took some pictures. Too tired to re-write everything that happened so it's all here in my blog. Each day has a separate entry, so read them and stuff. It was a fun trip but it sure was a lot of driving and a lot of not sleeping well. Glad to be back and relaxing finally.
