Pumpkin

So as some of you know, Majora's Mask is my second favorite game OF ALL TIME EVER!! Well I was playing it and then I watched/read that Ben Drowned thingy and it scared the parcheesies out of me. I get scared really easily and I couldn't sleep for like 3 days and I was sleeping poorly for like a week after that.

So I was halfway through my Majora's Mask playthrough since I recently bought it online since I loved it so much, and then I quit playing because scared.

Well boyfriend and I decided to play the game together as a couple. So we started it back up again (it has been months since I stopped playing) and both save files that were on the game were gone. Not too big of a deal, we were starting over anyways.

Then sharky starts playing and I notice a few things are off. For starters, he dies after he looses grip of Epona who is being stolen by the Skull Kid. Now I've only played this game eleventy billion (slight exaggeration, probably only 6 or 7) times and I never remembered dying before. Then he has no sword. Also weird, but I figure I could be misremembering.

So we head forward up to the part with the sad tree (so sad) and I notice something. He has 3 ocarina equipped. So I open up the menu screen and all of the item places are taken up by Ocarinas. The item screen and the mask screen. Then my boyfriend says "We have a haunted cartridge" and I nearly wet myself.

I googled it and its a common enough glitch. We reset the game and there were the save files and everything was back to normal.
