I had problems going to visit my mom but it didn't end there. Oh no. Everything went fine until it was time to come back and then all of a sudden there had to be a hurricane! Selfish hurricane ruining peoples travel plans. Anyways my bus was cancelled so I had to leave today, which means I am going to miss my "acceuil" (I'm sorry I really donno what that is in english) at college. If that wasn't enough, I went to take my bus at 7 this morning, but it was CANCELLED because no one entered it in the schedule. So me and about a dozen other people had to wait until 10 for the next bus. As if the day wasn't long enough. So now my mom has to call the college and my boyfriend so he doesn't go pick me up for nothing. Then I'm going to have to call him when I get there and wait almost an hour for him to get back downtown. Now I'm going to have to rush around on Wednesday to get my bus pass and student ID and everything else. Tomorrow I have driving lessons, I have to go to the library and my tutoring and get anything else sorted out. Why can't anything go accoprding to plan for me? Ever?

Anyways, I got some feedback on what I have written so far of my book and other than some grammar issues, the story is good so far. This is good news.

    but what do u meen with Accuil? can u discribe it?

    Its an hour where they greet students, give them their student ID and there schedule and map of the school and what not

    .. i dont know the word for that :o

    .. i dont know how i must start the new year, or who my mentor is.
    im suposed to start with 'free internship' wich meens i can go wherever i want.. But im going to do this after the period that were suppose to.
    my mentor stopped last year (thank god for that) so now im suppose to have a different mentor, but i still dont know who, while school starts net week!!

    There isnt even skedguel (jeez, how do u write that?) on the site jet :S

    ... so i have no idea what to do, or who to contact about this all.
    so ill just start with intership...

    What you describe as "acceuil" sounds like the kind of thing that goes on at new student orientations. So maybe "orientation" was the word you were looking for? Though around here that tends to be a day-long affair rather than an hour.

    usually acceuil means welcome, but I would agree with orientation for this usage.
