I found a post of mine i really like
When are you going to get that suicide is not a solution for a problem? I never said I wanted to die because it would make me happy; I just don't give a damn that I'm alive. I don't appreciate something that lacks objective value; being alive to me is an aberration; everything dies. Humans will be extinct. We're not special. The universe will collapse into itself and everything any of us will do is will be for naught.
We were close to extinction millions of years ago - there were 20 thousand members of our species then. If we were snuffed out then we wouldn't have Christ and God and internets and arguing about the virtues of suicide. What's the difference between then and now? That we developed metrics of perception to outline concepts? That's hardly a justifiable reason to objectify the value of existence.
I take a more universal view of this, and so the squabbles of petty arguments regarding suicide do not concern me. I have the ability to commit suicide; ergo I can and may.
