The toronto maple leafs (sic) is by far the worst hockey team in existence. This is a team whose fan base is absolutely esctatic if they manage to reach the playoffs. Because they can never reach the finals much less secure a stanley cup; this is the best they can do in any given season, and thus you can see the fanbase' response correspond to a realization of reality. Their only realization - as a honest fanbase would quit supporting such a lousy, shoddy team.

Compare this to the Grand Ol' Party - a defunct, past-their-prime relic of the past. They managed to get elected in 2000 under a platform of lies that turned into something that anybody who is intellectually honest would conclude led to the steepest derailment in all of history. Not all of american history - but all of history.

Like the maple leafs' fanbase, its supporters are a bunch of braindead, mindless apologists, constantly justify their teams' inadequacies, and incessantly clamoring that if 'only we could get so-and-so as the captain' they would once again be gloriously on their way to the stanley cup.

The maple leafs have made incessant trades and wasted its fans' times for decades, and they are in no position to ever win the Stanley cup. Neither too, will the GOP ever secure the presidency until they fire everybody and disband, allowing a completely new group to take over.

Every time I end up in a bar I ceaselessly mock the team who represents the 'city' I live in (I don't live in Toronto per se). Every time I go to Montreal I scream at the tv and cheer for their team.

You can tell me until you're blue in the face that I'm not 'an american so go away'. I will simply reply 'f*** the Toronto Maple Leafs'
