So if you don't know, I love movies. They're just a visual representation of stories and it's neat when you think of the different ways characters or aspects of the movies are portrayed.
The last movie I saw was "A Cure for Wellness", it was a psychological thriller that had little cool tidbits that you wouldn't get until you already got it. Make sense? It's a great movie when you really sit back and think, was this all real or a delusion?
The next movie

Referring to Zero Escape, Root Double and Ever17, three games / series that share a quite similar premise and execute it in quite different ways. The shared premise being basically as follows: a group of characters finds themselves locked in a very dangerous situation cut off from the outside world, and if they don't get out fast they all die. The games are all set in the not too distant future, with science being a little more advanced than in our world. And finally, all the games have some very

When I was in my 20s, there's a story I loved to tell. It's a true story.
When I was going to college, I moved in with my father. The first big snowstorm of the year, he and I went out to shovel the driveway. My father is an engineer, and he spent quite some time looking over the driveway and the available tools and deciding on the most efficient way to do the job with minimal effort. I, on the other hand, grabbed a shovel and started moving snow.
By the time he

So yeah, after what feels like an eternity since ZTD's PC release, the first two parts of the Zero Escape trilogy are finally catching up and getting PC releases of their own. Or at least together as a bundle.
999 has been revamped and features voice acting and I believe also the new (bad) ending that came in the iOS version?
Inevitably when playing a bazillion games, some of them are just not going to make in on to a top list, even if they were good games. So here are three more games that didn't make the cut but that you might still want to check out!
Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion (Formerly Spooky's House of Jump Scares)
Spooky's whatever you want to call it is a mixture of horror and comedy. You explore 1000 rooms in a haunted mansion with
Adventure Time - Hey Ice King! Why'd you steal our garbage?!!
The title is self-explanatory. The Ice King stole Fynn and Jake's garbage to make a... garbage princess. The game is a 2D platformer with an overworld map and some questing to do (get item A, bring to person X, etc). It of course takes place in the Land of Ooo and you will control Fynn while using Jake for certain skills.
Why it didn't make the cut: To me
You know, I recently went back over some of the plots of my favorite visual novels and, uh, with a lot of them if you think about the situation too much it starts getting really depressing.
So for "fun" I felt like summing up their situations in a sentence or two and decided to make a little game: match the VN to the horribly depressing situation! Naturally some of these are pretty big spoilers so I've put the list of represented VNs in a spoiler tag at the bottom. You shouldn't

In all seriousness I would like Karifean's answer. There was a thread a few months ago where both he and Ultima Shadow praised it as a fantastic experience and so I was curious and looked it up on Steam but didn't quite get it - are there others in the series you need to experience first, or? I saw someone had done a LP on YouTube and thought about watching it wasn't sure if it was the right thing.
It seems that across the several different rants
Here are three more games that didn't make the cut that you might maybe want to check out.
This Chinese visual novel has you play as a famed hero stripped of his title and sent to a figurative bird cage where he must teach the Princesses how to fence. As expected, there is more to these ladies than meets the eye, and the game has four romantic routes for you to pursue.
