  1. CLANNAD Steam Release on November 23rd

by , 11-13-2015 at 10:57 PM (Karifean's Blog of Visual Novels)
The CLANNAD Steam page has gone online and the release date has been revealed to be November 23rd!

This also means that the Kazamatsuri Bookclub will be starting on that very day. If you're interested in participating - which I wholeheartedly recommend doing - mark your calendars. The bookclub does encourage reading at your own pace, but it'd be nice if you could at least find the few hours a week to read the route we're currently focusing on.

    It'd ...
  2. To Play Games List

I had a lot of fun when I made my top games list, but going back over it since I've played new games, I saw how much it has changed. So I would like to do another one eventually. Don't worry, it won't be anytime soon, probably over a year at least. Because first, I want to play and complete all of these games:

    To Finish: (Started playing)
Conception II: Children of the Seven Stars
    Dragonball Xenoverse
    Eternal Sonata (PS3 version)
    Fantasy Life
    Hyperdimension ...

  3. I hope

That when I take my English class, I get a teacher with a good sense of humour. Because I want to give them a card at the end of the semester that says

"Thx you for the teaching me english. I lerned a lot and i liked you're class a lot. U R cool.."

And then I would draw two happy little stick figures

by , 11-05-2015 at 08:45 PM (Karifean's Blog of Visual Novels)

What the hell are you still reading this for!? Go buy it already!

Still unconvinced? It's a visual novel of moderate length with a thrilling story, a colorful cast and an absolutely incredible ending. It's the perfect starter VN, and still ranks as one of the overall best! And it's 30% off right now for launch week! What more do you need?

Just get it. It's good. It's in my absolute favorites, ...
  5. Video Game Fashions: Tales Series

I am back! Sorry I have been super busy, but since I've played new games, I decided to go by series this time! So you may see outfits I have already shown, but I will try to talk more about outfits as a whole, rather than just specific elements.

This time we will be talking about the Tales series! Which is not only one of my favourites, but also has a lot of great looks.

  6. Thanksgaming III! (Long overdue playthroughs are long overdue)

Tomorrow marks the beginning of the third annual Thanksgaming Month hosted by Ayen's Reviews, and the first to be in video format. Thanksgaming is a time of year where we honor the games of yesteryear and those that came out today, and I look forward to sinking my teeth into this year's lineup. Three of which I will be playing for the very first time. It all starts November 4th!

  8. An Interview with Koki Yoshimune on his writing

by , 10-31-2015 at 02:32 PM (Karifean's Blog of Visual Novels)

This got posted on the Muv-Luv Kickstarter a little while ago, and I found it pretty interesting. I especially wasn't aware of the whole 'War Guilt' thing and why writers turn to mecha to depict war situations instead.
  9. It's the final update!

    No more updates. Just reviews.

Finally figured trout out and I'll be able to get back into my weekly schedule. Now I have an extra week to get work done.

    Catch you guys later.
  10. Nostalgia is a cruel mistress

Between going through my old LJ this week and checking in here more, I am just full of that bitch this week.

It never ceases to amaze me how some things change, yet stay the same. Super cliché, I know.

Mostly, I wish that I had realized then, that some of the conversations I've looked through recently were going to be my last talks with those people. I'd have been more witty and insightful, or at least appreciated that person more.
