Gamers have lives! And if they run out of them, they best hope they'll have a continue left.

  1. April Lineup

And yes, I will be doing a Let's Play thread for VII. Are you excited? I'm excited. (ACIII sucks) but it follows American history! (I rest my ...

  3. Fynn's positive life blogs, part jeden (one)!

by , 02-26-2014 at 10:24 AM (Fynn's positive life blog)
I've come to realize my life is a pretty happy one. I mean, I've been going through something of a quarter-life crisis lately, but ultimately, I know there's a lot of people out there who have it way harder than me. Some of them on these forums. Some of whom have become my close friends.

So, considering that, the fact that my popularity here seems to be increasing (seriously, 2 years ago most of my posts got ignored and now I've actually won a Ciddie), and the fact that I need to ...

  4. trout just got real.

It’s been an intense week. A hundred people got killed here at the Independence Square in Kiev, I found myself under sniper fire and got my journalism career kickstarted.

  5. Woohoo! Two dollars!

So far this month I made two dollars (not counting tax) off my blog. Yeah, I know, that's not a lot of money. It's not the amount that has me excited, it's the fact that this is money I actually earned that has me happy. Never really had a job before this (not proud of it just telling the truth) so knowing that something I put work into is generating even a little money is a nice feeling. Plus, with the money I already have in the bank and the cash money I've been holding onto I have a moderately ...
  6. Riots look like video games

The whole central square of Kyiv, Ukraine has been turned into a city of tents. Fires are burning in barrels to keep the people warm, as it's -20C during the day. Food is being handed out by volunteers. Politicians hold speeches on the stage. A big screen is covering the side of a building, providing video of the screen to everyone in the crowd. Having just flown in from Bangkok, I try to find a place to sit down and figure out what exactly is going on.

  7. Self Employment

I signed up for Google AdSense a couple of days ago and got approved last night. What this means is there are now ads on my blog like you would see here as a source of revenue for what I do every week, review games. I get paid by the ad clicks and then whatever amount has been racked up by the end of the month they'll transfer to me. I have been wanting to get this set up for a while now, but for whatever reason they wouldn't let me do it before. When I saw this time that I could I jumped on that ...
  8. Hey, there's this thing here. Also, DOGGEHS!

Why have I not posed a blog yet? *shrug* But I am now! I'm mostly posting this here now because I can't warrant it being a topic of discussion anywhere on the actual forums. Anyway, I'm getting 2 new additional family members (maybe)!

My roommate's uncle has to move to a nursing home and can't keep these two. The introductions between these two and my cat Maverick....are a bit rocky. Ok, he's being a jerk. Has anyone introduced new pets to a skittish one in their home? My ...

  9. So... after all these years... we meet again.

So after so many years of being away from EOFF why the surge to come back? I'll be honest with you guys... I have missed you! AHHH just kidding, ok so maybe I sort of did XD For five painful years I have spoke/wrote 12h per day in Portuguese, at the beginning I wasn't used to it. My brain worked mostly in English and slowly it started working in Portuguese, full Portuguese ahead. But I kept reading books in English and trying to write novels in English, just then I realised... God when did my English ...

  10. To Health!

I called my insurance company again today, but this time a different line because I needed to talk to a "dedicated Health Plan Advisor" for this issue. I have this brochure they sent me about tax credits for these new Obamaplans, and it said to call to determine my eligibility and receive more info.

On hold, the audio was a little different. There was even a message about these tax credits! It describes the tax credit, and then says "To determine eligibility--" ...
