Personal Life

Gamers have lives! And if they run out of them, they best hope they'll have a continue left.

  1. New Camera, Lousy Mic

A few of you know I started doing video reviews of late, and while I got a new camera I'm running into a boat load of problems with it, among other things. Here's a quick video explaining my situation:

  2. Activity will take a hit

Last night on the toilet the following thoughts entered my mind: Just give up. You'll never finish a book and you'll never be a published author. So now I have to write a book and get it published to stick it to my inner monologue. Between that and the weekly reviews my posting on here will be cut in half as I want to focus on my writing. I love you guys, but you can be very distracting when people want to be productive.

    I'll catch you guys later.
  3. BAH!

Life blew up. In a good way.

    Sort of.

I started an Internship, which rocks!
    Then i made texture lead.
    Rocking even harder!
I start back to school for my masters in may. (maybe)

The down side to all this,

Dad is having major surgery soon. He's got to have outer half his right lung removed and theres a bleh around his artery, that has to come out too. So while the rest is good and great, I'm scared.

    My brother ...

  4. The Big Week

Boy from Kansas coming through. Follow the yellow brick road! Follow the yellow brick road! Follow, follow, follow, follow, follow the yellow brick road! We're off to see the Wizard, the wonderful Wizard of Oz!

What's up EoFF? We did it, IX just barely managed to crawl out with the win eliminating X-2 and butts were sore. Mine is still sore from the spanking Psychotic gave me. "No, Tori. That's a very bad Tori. Go to your room and think about what you've done!" It looks ...
  5. Trying to remember a feeling.

by , 11-04-2014 at 09:02 AM (Wolf Kanno's Crazy Ramblings and Incoherent Statements)
Normally I really hate writing personal posts like this but my strong dislike of EoEO and the fact this topic doesn't feel quite "EoEO material" as well as posting it in the Writing Forum felt weird because it's a bit too personal and I feel that forum should stick to its primary focus.

So recently I came upon some writer's block with a novel I am working on and so I decided to shift gears and work on a different story instead until I recharge and have a chance to step back ...
  6. Branching out & Patreon

Hi, EoFF. Boy, I've been a busy bee for the past couple of weeks.

To start off, several months back I made a thread about branching out with my reviews, which saw a truckload of anime requests. Mr. Vivi22 was even kind enough to recommend a couple of Uwe Boll movies. Please, feel free to thank Mr. Vivi after I leave 8D *cough* Anyway, here's a long overdue update on that.

After I reviewed 100 games (and I'm already 12 reviews away from that goal) I plan to review my first ...
  7. Distraction and Decisions

Once upon a time, my ex came to town. She made a very lurid proposition and I had to consult my magic 8-ball (read as: everyone here at Eyes) about how to move forward.

Well, she came back to town about two weeks ago. Despite the fact that I was close enough to her house on the first day to go and visit (which I desperately wanted to), I decided to fore-go that initial drop-by because I figured she'd be visiting with family. She later told me that her family didn't come to visit her ...

  8. Drunk reviewing a kebab. cool story brah

Who expects a kebab to taste differently from the last one? I do. Every time I walk into a kebab place, I expect it to taste better than the last one I had. Or even worse, as long as it's a different experience. When does that ever happen? They're all the smurfing same, more or less. Maybe the meat is a bit less greasy sometimes. Maybe the veggies are a bit fresher.

It's my friend's birthday. Most of the people left before midnight. I decided to stick around because she's a friend ...
  9. Back in business

Some of you may remember my little rant aimed at Google AdSense, well some good news: I was looking through some alternatives and discovered Infolinks. I applied for them and just got accepted today, so I'm back in business! Woohoo! If you see any text as links your browser didn't go and install an add-on you didn't ask for, it's just me.
  10. Smurf, Google!

    No, this isn't about Twitch.

The other day I was informed that Google has decided to suspend my AdSense account. All of the money that I have earned up to that point is gone and I won't be seeing any of it. Why was my account suspended? I don't know. They don't have to tell me either. They just give me a list of reasons for why accounts are suspended and provided a FAQ. That's it. They just leave me to guess why my account was suspended. And the only way I'm allowed to contact them ...
